Well, Well, Well!!! It has taken some time, and three phone calls to CSC. But, I finally got a agent that was willing to help me understand the extended processing times NOW for K1 Visa applications. I was informed that in the past,...CSC would process about 10K applications each month. This was a average of cource. Today, they are processing a average of 25K applications each month now. This increase is due to the current need/desire to make Illegial Immigrants, Legal citizens of the USA. I was informed that CSC is now currently as of 9 April working cases with a NOA1 date of July/2012. I have a NOA1 date of Oct/2012, I was informed to expect a wait of up to 3 months before my case would be worked((( Lovely,...just Lovely!!! I am not pleased with the information that I recieved today, but at least I have a much better understanding of what is causeing the much slower K1 Visa processing times, compared to months past of 2011/2012. May God help us in some way and show us much needed mercy!!

That's really no more or less honest than anything else I've heard. Sure they SAY they are working on July and since October is 3 months later, then that would mean logically you'd have a 3 months wait, but then you look at yesterday and see that 5 cases from VJers were approved and 4 of those 5 were from November/Decemeber.

I don't believe anyone on the phone has any actual facts to give us. I think they have a list of answers to give to fit within the information that is provided publically on the website and nothing more. These call centers, seem more about appeasing people's worries and getting them to wait longer than to actually give us any additional information.

I do hope they get your approval sooner rather than later. It's ridiculous all the people waiting since July for their approvals.

That's pretty much what we knew before.. They are focusing on DACA's, just that now, they've thrown in some numbers. Yeah, they have been "working" on july filers since 4-5 months ago..it's a pitty, honestly.

Yep. It's pretty infuriating when we tell USCIS/our senators that it is clear they are processing later dates also, and they outright deny it, saying they are working on July 18 and that people on the internet are lying. (Because hundreds of individual people are all individually deciding to lie about their cases being processd? That makes a lot of sense) Or they say that some applications are processed quicker than others. Either way, it is BS. My case is about as straightforward as they come, like many others on here still waiting, and I've been waiting since July 26.

I think the Nov/Dec are the exception at best. Most of the NOA2 coming out now are for Jul/Aug/Sep filers. From what I concluded 7 months was the average in the past couple of years.

I had a call into the NCSC second tier support today and they said as of a March 22 report (i wasn't able to find this date on any form that was published - the one is see was as of Feb 28th) that they were still on July 18th petitions. I was quoted 2 mths longer wait for September petitions.

On what planet is it fair that Dec filers are being approved before Jul/Aug/Sept/Oct?? We got our noa1 on OCT 1ST... Why should we be waiting longer than filers who didn't even apply until 2 months later??!?!?!! I am happy for the approved filers, but at the same time it is just so disheartening!

Hate to break it to you but CSC has been procssing the July 2012 applications for the past 4 months. I have called every month for the past 4 months and always get the same response. Then they tell me to call back around mid-next month....only to get the same response, "We are currently processing the July 2012 applications." :(

It was towards the end of January the date changed to July 18th. We were told this date by telephone before it changed on the USCIS website. So if they say they are still processing July then that means they are doing very little.

On the other hand, as I have said before, if they process a decent number of November/December filers, that will help bring down their average processing times to closer to the USCIS 5 month goal. Vermont did the self and same thing then backtracked to processing earlier dates.

I would put my money on seeing very few July/August filers approved this month.

Oh my god, I'd never even thought that they might be deliberately processing the occasional November/December simply to make their average look better. Was thinking it was just their disorganised system. That's just terrible.

It's terrible but it makes sense. It's just manipulation of figures to hit targets. Most businesses do this. Unfortunately, there is real people behind these figures and we are hurting but to CSC we are just numbers.
