Hi everyone! I am trying to download the form but it is not downloading, saying that I may have the old version. I have already updated it and it is still not downloading. Is this link broken? Can someone send me the most updated form, please? Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot, NickD! I use Chrome as my IE just crashed on me and just continues to crash as usual so I gave up IE a long time ago. I really appreciate it!

Have a great evening!

Had my fits yesterday with IRS forms, no problem downloading, stepdaughter finally realized she had to file her taxes, and that is what dad's are for. Problem I had was after filling out the forms, would save them, only to reopen them to get a blank page. I had to email these forms for her.

Was finally worked for me was to use IE and Adobe reader version 11. I did my own taxes last January and had no problems using my Adobe Arcobat Pro version 10 and Firefox, sure had problems yesterday.

Netscape was the first, but Gates got interested in the internet and knocked them out of the market, no choice but to use IE, but that's okay, he was fined $5,000.00 for doing this. Used Opera for awhile, was good and fast, than that quick working. Firefox was welcomed relief, but who knows what MS is doing today. Around ten years ago, government was talking about shutting down MS for a universal OS, but guess his attorneys have more power than the US government.

Adobe is no better, really no improvements, but constantly changing their format so they can hit us with a couple of hundred bucks per year. I seem to have no problems with private company PDF's, but sure have my share of problems with government forms. What should have taken me less than an hour to do yesterday, took over eight hours.

Without a computer, you are dead meat with the IRS and the USCIS. Furthermore, about 25% of my internet bill is taxes, another way we are getting screwed. Why are we putting up with this?

Thanks for attaching the form here. I don't think it is working from the main site.

It does, but I've found that Google Chrome can be problematic because it has its own built-in PDF viewer. Use Internet Explorer and you should be fine.

Alternatively you can right-click on the link and do a "save link as" to download the PDF rather than trying to view it in the browser.

I'd be careful about the form attached in this thread because it could be outdated. Downloading straight from USCIS ensures you have the latest version.

I don't think the form changed since it was posted here in April 2013, but going straight to the source is the best practice.

Thanks so much, I just tried from IE and it worked just fine like you stated.
