If you are familiar with the argumentative patterns of the anti-gun anti-constitutionalists here on VJ, you know that's not far off.

One American does something stupid involving a gun (it's always a gun, they never care about other things) and suddenly we need legislation that takes away the rights of us all.

If the 4 year old boy was trained how to use guns at an early age, this never would've happened.

Yeah but not because the word 'later' was used meant that the mini gun show had wrapped up. The highlighted part doesn't say to me that the a gun was forgotten/simply left on the bed and then the shooting happened.

I have read several posts dealing with guns and failed to derive the same impression. Moreover, the views expressed here are just opinions, and it would be equally restrictive to the 'rights of us all' to even suggest anyone should 'stop it' voicing their concerns and opinions. To be sure this is a private forum but such attempt to cramp speech should be reserved to the discretion of moderators, who are assigned such task.
