I'm sure the readings will be displayed on the dashboard. Some off-road vehicles allow you to check and fill the tires from the driver's seat.

Checking the tire pressure from the driver's seat and displaying the results on the dashboard is reasonable enough.

But why should you have to use your keyfob to do that? Why not have a button on the dash that does it, instead of a button on the tiny keyfob. Better yet, why not have the car itself automatically check and display continuously, or every so many hours, or every so many miles, or whatever?

You're right. It's not needed on a fob. Systems already exist that inform you when the pressure is low. I never understood the wireless remote on car stereos either. Maybe the for the people in the back seat?? I do like the controls on the steering wheel though.
