OK...so we are within grasp of putting an offer in on "our condo"....built to our specs here in Cleveland, USA. Very exciting, and very much both of ours (No Cleveland Jokes peeps).

I just felt like sharing that. :)

Congrats !! Great news !! it is exciting...we just put an offer on a place in San Antonio TX....property inspection today.....it feels good !!

That's fantastic Stubby and Rio! - Makes your future together that much more real...huh?

We put our offer in and it was accepted. This weekend we will meet with the builder to pick out our cabinets & counters, wood floor, carpet and tile, paint and fixtures. She is visiting for the weekend so we can do that together! I very much want it to be "Our Place", especially with her moving from her home country.

I agree a and m....the thought that this is " our " home....our life together makes it so very special. Some friends of mine do not " get it " that being apart and going through this process takes a lot of patience, understanding, communication and strength....but its all of our Love for each other that makes it worth it....dang that sounded mushy.....anyway, getting the chance to pick out your decor choices together is going to be fun...good luck...enjoy it and time will fly by till you 'all are together ....

Well, we did it! Gave the deposit, and made some fantastic selections in all of the flooring, colors and cabinetry. The builder thinks he will have it completed in 6 weeks, then I will live there while we wait out the process...The amazing thing is that we were completely in sync on nearly all of the choices! It's not mushy at all....it's what it is supposed to be all about :)
