HELP!!

I came to US by K1 and I'll have AOS interview on this Thursday but I still cannot find a civil surgeon that will not rip me off (money is hard to earn), I almost give up to the $140 for the transcription of the I-693 only but they still can't do it in one day and it just available next week which is too late for me. I wanna ask if there is any of you who got the AOS approved without the I-693?. I'm very worry of this thing. :crying:

If you had all the required vaccinations at the time of your K-1 and they were marked off on a properly filled out DS-3025, then you may be okay without the I-693. If your medical was not within one year of filing for AOS, or you did not have all the required vaccinations marked off on the DS-3025, then you will most likely be given an RFE at the interview to see a civil surgeon, get the missing vaccinations and the I-693.

If she did not file for AOS until over a year after she arrived in the US on a K-1, then yes, she needs to get a new medical and an I-693 filled out by a civil surgeon.

You can only skip getting another medical exam if your K-1 medical was done within a year of filing for AOS. So, they need to get the full medical done and the I-693 filled out by a designated civil surgeon. Yes, she should bring it with her to her interview to avoid getting an RFE at the interview for the I-693. You can download the form here to bring to the civil surgeon to make sure the most current version of the form is used: http://www.uscis.gov...00045f3d6a1RCRD
