Hey everyone

I wasn't sure where to post this question and I hope this is the right place. I'm kinda freaking out!...

I came to the US on a K1 visa. I've tried to do everything as correct as possible keeping track of everything I do through the process and saving every single paper and filing it for my own records. I just now filed for my Lifting of condition on my greencard. So I was filing everything and I came across a letter I got a long time ago when My wife and I moved from my in-laws to our own apartment. I know I did the change of address with the USCIS AS SOON AS WE MOVED! The letter I found it a Notice of Action about the Change of Address, but now that I read the letter it says "SPONSOR CHANGE OF ADDRESS"... Ive been through all my papers and I cant find one for ME!... Was I supposed to get one just like that with my name? To be honest I cant remember if I filed for the two of us? IM REALLY FREAKNG OUT cuz I dont want to have any setbacks with my lifting of condition process and I dont want them thinking we're living in different address.. Is there a way I can check this? The other reason why im freaking out even more is because 2 weeks ago my mother in law got a letter from the USCIS reminding me that I had to file for lifting of condition... and it was sent to her ADDRESS with my name on it.. DOES IT MEAN I didnt change my address???? Im really freaking out! any help will be appreciated! THANK YOU helpsmilie.gif

It means the address they have on file is not correct. Call them and update it or file another change of address form if your worried.

When we filed change of address forms for both of us, only the US citizen got a confirmation in the mail.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thanks for your reply. I really can't remember if I changed my address or not! Do you think if I call tomorrow and I change it, it will affect my lifting of condition process in any way?

No it shouldn't, would just change that you should get your mail to the correct address.
