I am confused on the part of NVS processing on the CR1 visa. Currently I am waiting for Approval Notice to the Petitioner 2 (NOA2).

This is what i read is two different fourms

"the NVC will send your relative a packet of forms that you and your relative must fill out before your relative can be given an interview date with a consulate abroad"

"Try to have all documents below in the hands of the Petitioner, before the NVC process begins. This should be done BEFORE your I-130 petition is approved"

My wife lives in abroad. Should she wait to fill out the NVC package that she gets or send me the forms and i wait for my nvc pakgage.

and who mails out the nvc information, me or my wife , the AOS and the IV packet.

Express mail AOS packet and IV packet to NVC

AOS Packet

IV Packet

please help and thank you in advance :)

She can download the forms, fill them out and send everything to you now and you can send it to the NVC after the IV invoice is paid. Or she can send it to the NVC after the IV invoice is paid. Do not wait for the NVC to send you packages, just download and fill out the forms yourself.

The AOS package is the petitioner's side of the NVC. The two are separate tracks at the NVC (look at the NVC flow chart) but both sides need to be in for a case complete and interview assignment.

i understand the AOC has be sent in first before the ivc can be sent in is that correct? or are they mailed in together

im guessing the NVC will send me the notice of action 2 thats when i send in the AOC package?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Usually , folk here at VJ don't wait on NVC to send them stuff. They use the shortcuts in the Wiki, hit the wiki (from a PC) , search on 'LingChe' .

Sure, can get some notifications (maybe) but

if you want to wait on forms and instructions, NVC will kick you into 'NVC Postal Processing Mode' and that runs about 3 months per thing (there are 3 things with NVC) . I don't recommend it.

so it really is best to get all of your own forms, and use a telephone to initiate first contact with NVC. Change your concept of processing, a bit, after reading, aye?
