Unless, I'm mistaken on the Nigeria portal there's a list of the Approved visas and the upcoming interviews. I'm sure there are a lot of people not on VJ who may be scheduled, but I wish there was more information given.I've also read on VJ possible wait time varies but averages 2 months from case complete. My mistake, the interview in May is IR/CR1.

When does Lagos schedule Cr1 interviews?....April appears closed, and only 1 k1 interview for May.I hope we can make May.

During the year i filed for my mom, it used to be pretty fast. These days, they notify you abt a month after case complete that your date is approx. one month from notification date.

The email auto responses i have gotten from the embassy while corresponding with them states they are currently scheduling interviews in 4-6weeks.

Thanks Ndu, I just wish the Embassy could step things up faster.Nigeria has so many holidays and I don't want the process to stall any more than it has already.

I feel you dear. When my date was given on March 5th, I was like "what, 6weeks from now?" but see, its just next week!!! Besides march 5th has something special for us cos I had a weird dream about that date and even psoted about it in the thread for "FEB Interviews" then. At the time I interpreted it as being the date we will go for interview. People must have thought I was crazy but that is the date our interview notice came so I trust God is in control of the day and may His will be done.

It helped that he was able to email things and send documents DSL to me to forward to NVC. We paid all fees online and I frontloaded documents. Am sure your interview date will be coming soon, you case was completed just shortly after mine. I didn't even have to call for an interview date, it was emailed to myself and my husband. The email will show all documents they received,(except the frontloaded supportive documnts) and will also tell your husband what he needs to bring with him. Hope to see you soon on board with an interview date.

Quick question: If the police certificate expires prior to the interview date, then will my husband need to bring a new one to the interview? It would suck because this would be his 3rd one.

Thanks guys.

yes he needs a current one for interview. For this to be the 3rd that means you got the first one too early
