what i find most troubling is the "feeding frenzy" mentality that occurs in mena. all of you are essentially in the same boat in one way or another. yet when someone shows weakness..........it's piranha time .

Piranha time is trademarked?

That's very true also. I share my most intimate feelings and thoughts with my two closest gfs who've I've known since I was 8 and my husband. That way I have no backlash and no worries about that stuff getting around. The stuff I share with ppl I meet online is censored big time. It's not terribly easy to gain my trust.

That's exactly why I don't post my most intimate stuff online. I save that for PMs and emails.

Even there caution is needed. More than once people have told me things that have been told to them in confidence, and I know that things I have told people in confidence have been shared. Even one-on-one, the internet is still not terribly private.

Maybe you think I'm being harsh, but I'm just being real  There are a ton of support groups in yahoo and this is not the only place people post. I think most people have learned by now that VJ is not the place of rainbows and lollypops and its NOT gonna change. I have offered support to many people now and in the past but thats not the only thing that this place is for.

It seems everyone here knows that posting personal details (I mean really personal) will always come back and bite you in the a$$. Maybe she has forgiven him and thats her choice. However that doesn't mean I need to empathize with that situation.

My ex cheated on my ALOT, I always forgave him, my friends/family didn't. Thankfully they helped me see the light one day. I'm really glad that I had real friends that didn't put blinders on to protect me from the truth. The truth hurts sometimes, thats a reality.

We know you're being real, JP. you haven't said anything that's not true. Still, there is a time and a place, and it sounds like when it was needed, when he posted the divorce posts, you handied him his head, as you should have. What's done is done. Leave it for them to sort out now. That's all I'm saying.

Trademarking is an expensive and cumbersome proecess, Charles. Try copyrighting; it's simpler. :hehe:

It's survival of the fittest. There are so many examples of this in nearly all species of animals. What is most disturbing is that while humans are of the highest intellect, they are the only 'animal' that chooses to kill their own. VJ is a good example.

Thats fine and its your opinion. As you were free to make continious posts and remarks regarding VP's marriage and put her head on a silver platter many times, then you are in no place to judge me. (F) If people don't care what I have to say then they can put me of ignore, very simple.

Lashing out at me isn't gonna make me change who I am the way I post. (not you SZSZ). Again this is my opinion, uncensored! Maybe I should get a parental warning sticker. In all seriousness, this is the way I feel. I post on VJ what I think and feel and I'm not gonna sugarcoat it because its' not my style and I'm not going to pretend to be someone I'm not.

I can judge, any place, any time. What went on with VP and me didn't change that one bit, particularly since I was right. But, that's not what I'm doing now. I'm not sure why you're being so defensive. Who's saying it's not possible that Hicham913 could be deceiving his wife?

Unlike VP and me, who directly addressed each other in our continuous posts, you're directing your energy at someone who isn't here to fill out the portrait of their relationship, someone one who didn't ask for our input. When, and if, she does, have at her. It's clear that Hicham913 couldn't care less about what we say. Maybe Judy doesn't either.

You're not the only one that has noticed that. Cooler heads do tend to prevail after work time is done.

if you can't say something nice, ya know.....

unbelievable

Ok, calm down, please. We know that this process can make you go crazy. Hicham913 or his wife would not be the first ones here to post about the strains of waiting. Many of us have gone thru this at one time or another.

Be nice, all. Hicham has had a good experience at the consulate, and that is always good to know. What happens between he and his wife later is up to them.

I couldn't have said it better myself! Well done! I'll never understand and I don't ever want to understand why throwing something in someone's face is considered 'funny'.

Not to stir things up, but I got misunderstood, I think....

When I read this earlier, I initially replied with something really un-friendly....at the last second chose to erase it and I typed what I did, pretty much because I thought it wasn't so appropriate for me to post it like it was. but please dont think I would tell anyone else to not speak their minds here. As a matter of fact, if I had paperwork that was in any state of limbo because some my relationship wasn't somehow verifyably good enough, I would be really upset if this guy got a visa so easily.

With all due respect, if you can judge anytime and anyplace then so can I. I am not being defensive and my comments were directed at the OP not anyone else. Its everyone else that has decided to challenge me and try to school me on posting ettiquite. If hicham913 and Judy don't care then thats fine, their choice. However I am directing my comments at them while everyone else is directing theirs at me.
