assuming my husband will have an interview for getting his greencard. will it be a big deal if his passport expired/or about to expired? (his passport will be expired on june'2013)

if we renew his passport now it will take about 6wks to get it done and obviously, we are not sure if he will have interview soon. we just recently send the AOS pocket (march21) and he just did his early walk-in biometric today (april8).

any ideas?? thanks

If hes got a valid ID to get inside then it shouldn't be a problem. Its possible it could take quite a while to hear about an interview tho too.

we were too late to apply for his state ID (I-94 less than 30days) :bonk: hoping as soon as we got his EAD card we could able to apply for his state ID.

thanks inky
