First touch in almost 2 months

Just excited that my AOS was touched on Saturday (11/11/06). I had stopped checking so as not to be so obsessed..........but finally a touch. Good to know they remember me. Is this a good sign? Will I get my GC soon?

EAD Timeline

06/20/06 Sent EAD package

06/27/06 Received

06/29/06 Receipt notice received

07/25/06 Biometrics appointment (28 days after receiving application)

09/15/06 Touched (80 days)

09/18/06 CRIS email notification of EAD APPROVAL on 9/15 (80 days)

09/19/06 EAD card in mail (84 days)

11/11/06 Touched (137 days)

AOS Timeline – petition sent to Chicago lockbox

06/20/06 Sent AOS package

06/27/06 Received

06/29/06 Receipt notice received

07/25/06 Biometrics appointment (28 days after receiving application)

09/21/06 USCIS Interview, I-94 taken (86 days)

09/21/06 Touched (86 days)

09/22/06 Touched (87 days)

11/11/06 Touched (137 days) still no email, welcome letter or GC

I think it has to be a good sign. :yes: Even if your green card isn't imminent, you're one step closer!

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

Loads of people got touches on November 11th. I did as well. I hope its a good sign, but so far none of us have got anything other than just the touch.

Loads of people got touches on November 11th. I did as well. I hope its a good sign, but so far none of us have got anything other than just the touch.

I surely hope so. I see that we have similar timelines even though at different offices. Can only keep praying that we'll get good news soon.

Fingers crossed. Post here if you get anything. Its really frustrating to be in limbo like this, even though as I'm only ~5 weeks after my interview I'm not officially allowed to complain (the guy on the hotline said I can't complain until 3 months after interview!).
