I already paid my AOS fee, and it shows its paid now but why can't I pay the IV fees? How long do I have to wait?

And for the sponsor is it okay if I send tax papers for all the past 3 years, or is it mandatory to do the IRS transcript?

You must wait the DS-261 approval, order to obtain the IV fee.

About the affidavit there is no problem in sending the last one income tax and W2. yes.gif

Good questions. In addition to that which of the tax transcript is best to order online, account or return transcript and for how many years is mandatory?

I read somewhere that one can call and asked for it to be faxed to one's fax #.

@hope2014, my hubby just sent the DS261 last Sept 4, and it says I have to wait 3-5 days for me the petitioner to pay the IV Fee, ill update you if they will send me the invoice by Monday or Tuesday next week.

@jewel4life, its the Tax Return Transcript that needs to be ordered. I got mine thru their irs order phone hotline. all you need is the SS number of the tax Payer and the street number of the address used in your tax record.I ordered last Aug 30 and jut got the transcript today Sept 7.

Hi,

My PD is July 12, 2012.

I have one more question. I posted this in a different forum but I didn't get much luck getting answers. I meet the income requirement for 2012 and 2011, but in 2010 I didn't work much and I don't meet the requirement. Would I run into any issues because of this? Would I need to an additional sponsor?

Thanks,

Thanks,

You don't have to include your income for 2010 if you don't want it to cause a red flag. You only need to show them your most current tax returns, in your case, 2011 and 2012. It's optional to provide the last two tax return per instruction and form I-864 itself. In our case, we only gave them our 2011 & 2012 tax return and we don't have problem.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

I happen to be in same shoes. My 2011 and 2010 was way below poverty guideline 'cos I just relocated from the UK as a professional and looking for job.

My 2012 was around $150k, will it be ok for me to just submit only 2012 and pay stubs for this year? To date for this year I have like $80k plus. I only have a family of 3people.

Also how many months pay stubs do I need to submit?

Thanks guys.

IRS Tax information (photocopy or IRS Tax Return Transcript) - 1 year is required, up to 3 years may help.

So I really think 2012 income is the only requirement. As 2010 and 2011 is just additional support just to prove that you have work by that time.

You might want to start with the beneficiary's police certificate, birth certificate and any other civil documents that might take long to receive in their country.

As a petitioner the IRS, w2 or any tax papers needed might take you atleast a week I think but you can order it online or thru phone its easy to get those.

I have originals of marriage cert, all birth certs, photographs. I just asked her to go get the UK police cert. I will order the IRS stuffs via phone today.

One issue is she's in UK and not in Nigeria. I know she'll need PC for Nigeria but how she will get it I don't know while she's in UK now. Can we just get the UK one and write a letter saying we will make available the Nigeria one during interview?

I have originals of marriage cert, all birth certs, photographs. I just asked her to go get the UK police cert. I will order the IRS stuffs via phone today.

One issue is she's in UK and not in Nigeria. I know she'll need PC for Nigeria but how she will get it I don't know while she's in UK now. Can we just get the UK one and write a letter saying we will make available the Nigeria one during interview?

I just filled out the ds-261 online but the AOS not invoiced as yet. How long does it take for it to be invoiced after ds-261 submission?

It's saying the next step is to pay the immigrant visa fee.

Thanks
