10/24/2011-- I130 sent.
10/28/2011-- I130 received.
Priority Date 10/28/2011.
07/26/2013-- NOA2 TEXT/EMAIL. (After 21 months waiting)
07/29/2013-- NOA2 Hard Copy received.

NVC PROCESS

08/05/2013 - NVC received our case

08/21/2013 - Case number and invoice number assigned

08/21/2013 - Sent DS3032 by email

08/23/2013 - Received AOS fee invoice by email. Paid AOS fee $88

08/23/2013 - Received IV fee invoice by email. Paid IV fee $230

08/26/2013 - AOS and IV Package sent to NVC

08/27/2013 - AOS & IV fee shows paid on the website payment.

08/28/2013 - AOS and IV packages arrived at NVC at morning

09/03/2013 - DS-260 Already was filled online

09/23/2013 - IV Package was approved.

09/24/2013 - Case Completed

10/28/2013 - IL Received

11/18/2013 - Medical Appointment. done

Hi hope2014... I had to fill just the DS-260, but not the DS-261... But I had already previously sent the DS-230. rolleyes.gif

Do we need to fill DS-230 or DS-260 I am confused

I submitted ds230 on 20th aug!! Just came to know about this new form ds260 i dunt know if i also have to fill that form will call nvc today and let u know!!

"As of September 3, 2013, the National Visa Center will no longer accept immigrant visa applications on forms DS-230 and DS-3032. All immigrant visa applications will need to use Form DS-260 (Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration), which is completed and submitted online (see ceac.state.gov).

In addition, some applicants who previously submitted Form DS-230 may be asked to submit Form DS-260 as well. "

It says 3-5 days processing after you submitted it and the civil documents so I hope it speeds up the process.

I think the 3-5 days processing is the allowance for them to enter our form into their system, then when they receive the civil documents that's when the 30 business day count starts.

2 VJ members told me that's the "standard" waiting time NOW, according to the NVC CSRs they have spoken to yesterday and tonight.

I just don't have the patience right now to call and confirm with NVC.

You may wanna ask yourself though.

I got mine yesterday so did not attempt to do anything. Just wait atleast 24 hours. Then log in the website and do 261 and at the same time you can make the payment of $88 if it is available.

Hey,

I signed in with the case no and IIN but to my surprise they only put my son as the only beneficiary whereas I didn't actually file for my son but my wife and thinking my son will be a follow to join/beneficiary. Also its still showing not invoiced.

What can I don to have my wife on the list of beneficiaries?

I called nvc today and the lady told me to wait for 30 days instead of 20 :((((
