Did anyone fill out form DS-261( Choice of agent and address) online because I got an email fron NVC and they asked me to fill out DS-261 online .

Please let me know if anyone has done it.

Hi Hems, i sent my ds3032 using vj template on aug 27 but have not gotten a response yet. Last night i was on NVC website just checking if they received my aos payment and i just filled out the ds261 not knowing there was a change so i don't have to worry. So go ahead and do yours, it's better to be safe than to be sorry.

I am not worrying , i am just curious because I haven't seen anyone mentioning about DS261 in their timeline or in their progress with NVC.

anyways I have filled it.

I sent my DS3032 on 30th aug and I haven't got any response my DS3032. I am not sure why they asked me to fill out DS261.

FINALLY....i got my case number today guys!!!! I am happy and overwhelmed at the same time!!

so much to do till end of this month cray5ol.gif

Can someone tell me should I go ahead and do the DS3032??

The agent told me to wait for the email by NVC but I do not want to get anything delayed.

She also suggested I will be filling out DS 261 based on the instruction provided in the email??

Congrats! Now, you have to go this site https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx fill up the choice of agent form. You need your case number and Invoice Identification number for you to sign in.

I do not have a invoice identification number though, where do I get that from? I think I should have asked for that on the phone as well, right?

One last question. I am temporarily moved from the original address for about 6 months( used in the form), I only go there once a month so I do not miss out on any mail. Would you suggest giving the new address in the 261 when I sign up as an agent? Or use the old address so there is no confusion?

Guys Do I need to fill up the form DS-260 if I already submitted DS-230? It's about 15 business days passed after NVC logged in my AOS and IV package into their system. I appreciate for your all help. Though I did not get any mail from NVC about DS-260 yet.

checklist for nvc is the same as rfe for uscis

it means something is missing or needs to be fixed
