Does anyone know when they work on your file do they have separate people who work on the IV and separate on the AOS? Basically I just sent in response to the checklist for the AOS. They said on the phone that it will take them 20 business days to process it. But my IV is due end of this week, is it possible that when they open my IV docs to process they also reconcile the AOS response and complete the case? Or will the AOS take its own separate time to process? Anyone have any idea experience or insider info?

Is your wife the beneficiary? Did you get auto-response on your letter from NVC? Of course, you can always call them, but I wouldn't worry, it's how they process emails now.

04/08/2012: i130 sent

04/09/2012: NOA1

NOA1 hard copy: never received due to address error

06/12/2013: NOA2

06/17/2013: NOA2 hard copy

06/17/2013: NVC received our case

06/28/2013: Case number assigned

Great, you got an auto-response, I think you should get reply very soon and everything is OK. You could give them one more day. But it won't heart anyone if you call them. It's really up to you.

It will take 10-20 business days for NVC to accept your DS3032. Weekends doesn't count.

You can call them for updates.

case number assigned - 8th July

AOS fee paid - 26th July

choice of address and agent sent - 27th July

choice of address and agent accepted - 7th august

IV fee paid - 14th august

AOS Package sent - 12th August

IV package sent - 14th august

AOS logged in - 15th august

IV logged in - 19th august
