at least 3 plus years because so many people will file in coming two months. it will be same like year 2007 when they made all current for EB category, then retrogress it for 5 years then move one week per month.

this is a disaster for FB2. congratulations for people who got lucky.

get ready for long wait like old days. 5 Plus years altogether . now just I 130 takes 12 -14 months in approval.

Wow...this scared me.

I went to check the visa bulletins of 2007 and it seems that during the first months of 2007 the cut off date for the Employment Based 3rd category was AUG02...then they jumped one year in May 2007 to a cut off date of AUG03, and almost another year in June and by July it was set to Current.....later in July they said no more visa numbers were available for the EB Catergories and in Sept 2007 they went back to AUG02 for the Employment Based 3rd category....which was the date they had been stuck at during the first 3-4 months of the year. If something similar happens to the F2A category, then maybe they retrogress back to late 2011.

What worries me is that since a lot of i-130 forms (some with PD as far back as late 2011) seemed to just have been sitting around in the service centers and have only recently begun to get processed, then when they do get processed, they will create a backlog in processing and in visa number availability causing the cut off date to move slowly during a part of the next fiscal year while they catch up with all those I-130s they hadn't touched during all this time..
