You have to wait until they get to your file. It is taking 3 weeks these days from the time you send it until you hear from them. I sent my AOS 2 weeks ago, so end of next week I should get a response. The IV I sent last week, so it will take 2 more weeks to get that back.

Sorry what I mean is how will I know if the AOS package we sent is ok with them, no checklist or something?

Congratulations on Your case # dancin5hr.gif , Time for reviewing your Packages if you have them ready!

Thank you :). We are waiting for the invoice to be generated

Meanwhile, we have a concern - the day we received case number, tracking site displayed 'Not Invoiced' on the 'Invoice' tab, which we understood is normal and waited for a couple of days. However, now the site says 'You cannot make online payment at this time for your case' on the 'SignIn' page itself. Can anybody please tell what would that mean? Should we just wait patiently for a couple of more days for the invoice to be generated? Thanks.

Hi everyone! My case arrived NVC on July 29th, but they haven't assigned me a case number yet. How long do I have to wait for it???

Congrats! Keep calling NVC everyday to know about your case number. The representatives say 15-20 business days but we should not give up :). Good luck.

I am getting ready to send out our IV docs but I am a little worried regarding my husband's (beneficiary) "present occupation" because he's still looking for a job. He has been working since 2008 til I had my vacation in March 2013 and been looking for job for 4 mons now? Do you think it will affect his immigrant visa application if he is unemployed at this time? But he put N/A to that question, we don't want to lie but hopefully it won't affect him getting a visa. Thanks!

hi! I have a question, NVC ask a checklist for us. I send all the doc riquested, and I pay th 230$ fee. Do any one knows how time it takes to a case complet?

NVC representatives say it takes them 20 days to review docs from the moment they enter them in the system.

For me it was exactly 3 weeks from the moment my docs were delivered to NVC building.

From timelines I've seen that for some folks it takes around week to get their case complete after all packages and checklist were accepted. Some get case complete right after last package/checklist was reviewed.

As I understand, your AOS package was already reviewed and accepted, so, roughly speaking, it should take around a month from the moment your docs were delivered to NVC to become case complete.
