For 1040EZ it should be adjusted gross income, for 1040 it should total gross income

It says specifically in the Instructions to i864 document - luckily I read that b/c my joint sponsor file 1040EZ for 2 years and 1040 for one year so I had to change that since I sent the past 3 yrs tax return transcripts to them in my AOS.

I've double-checked now ALL transcripts, as we have sent past 3 years as well. It's weird, but NVC told about mistake only in most recent tax year, but all three were messed up.

04/08/2012: i130 sent

04/09/2012: NOA1

NOA1 hard copy: never received due to address error

06/12/2013: NOA2

06/17/2013: NOA2 hard copy

06/17/2013: NVC received our case

06/28/2013: Case number assigned

07/01/2013: Sent DS3032 via email

07/03/2013: Recieved i864/DS3032

07/03/2013: Payed i864 bill

07/06/2013: Sent i864 package

07/08/2013: i864 package delivered

07/16/2013: Sent DS3032 via email second time (supervisor review)

07/17/2013: Rejected DS3032. We did a typo!!! Sent correct DS3032.

07/29/2013: Checklist for AOS

08/01/2013: DS3032 accepted

08/02/2013: Sent response to AOS checklist

08/02/2013: IV fee paid, IV package sent

08/05/2013: NVC received reply to AOS checklist and IV package

08/30/2013: AOS accepted

NVC removed our children's names in the IV fee invoice (payment portal), because they are already LPRs. I sent them an email July 22 with the kids' GC.

my question is, by the time all this document's are ready to send.. is that okey to send all together , the AOS and the DS230 to NVC?

No - as long as you can print out the cover sheet - you don't have to wait at all.

Do you have to wait for the IV Fee status to change from "in process" to "Paid" before you send the IV documents?

nvc received my case yesterday but have not assigned a case number yet...operator said 10 to 20 business days for that

I call them earlier to ask for our NVC case no. she said need to wait 8 weeks? hope not!!
