Is it really hard to contact NVC? I'm getting a busy tone every time I try to call them.

Agent Jesus sent an email on July 9th that my choice of agent submitted by email was accepted and processed. I did not do anything in the meantime...so first agent rejected, someone else picked it up and processed it...

Today we got the IV bill, so things are back on track eventually smile.png

My AOS pack is ready to return...I'm in Europe currently, but going back to US next week, so will post from there.

By the way - and you obviously don't have to reply to this if you don't want to - how come you are going through the NVC and doing consular processing instead of just filing adjustment of status for your wife on 1 August?

Is it really hard to contact NVC? I'm getting a busy tone every time I try to call them.

I get that too. I just redial immediately and usually by the third attempt I get through.

i also got case completed email last night and case has been completed on july 3.

My question is, should I still have my wife send the DS-3032 the one with the official barcode on top of it. She already submitted one as a pdf with the case number on the header and as an email as many others have done? Or will sending them another one make it more delayed?

Any advice or experience?

Yay, congrats!

It generally takes 2 weeks. When your DS3032 gets accepted. Your IV fee will be invoiced. Then you can pay your bill and send your IV package.

Congrats! Don't send a new DS-3032 unless the one your wife already submitted gets rejected.

Oh Ok - the only concern I have is they haven't confirmed if they received it or not. I mean I got the automatic message back when I had sent the email to the NVCInquiry email address, but apart from that even when I called them they said they can't tell until probably mid-next week.

The other question I had was should I go ahead and send in the civil documents they need now or should I wait until the D-3032 is accepted and they process the IV fees?
