Is it easier if the choice of agent is the petitioner? I need some advice. Thanks!

Most of the time, the petitioners are assigned as the agents as correspondence will be sent to their US addresses and will be received faster as opposed to NVC sending the letters to the Philippines.

If you think you are not eligible to apply online then yes you have to send DS3032 and you can email to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov. See this link for email format:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

Remember, you have to send this email to NVC from beneficiary's email account not from the petitioner's email. If beneficiary's email account is not in the NVC system then call NVC and tell them to add beneficiary's email. Good Luck.

Also, check this link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/439000-nvc-filers-july-2013/. Though it is meant for IR1/CR1 members, the process is same for F2A as well. You can get lot of information from here too.

thank you for your quick and complete response,

I have another question, and that is, considering that i have an attorney responsible for this petition, do i need to send this DS-3032 for either by mail or hard copy?

does it have any thing useful for my petition?

thanks for your time

If you have attorney and you are planning to have him take care of your documents and process then it's better you consult with him. But in any cases you can email DS3032. If you snail mail then you might need a barcode. So as i told you talk to your attorney. After all that's why you are paying him for. Good luck.

I read on the USCIS site that if there is an attorney there is no DS-3032 required, not sure if it is applicable in OGHD's case though. Am just giving my two cents ;-). Please clarify if it means otherwise.

This is the link from USCIS:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1306.html

Next Steps - Fees, Affidavit of Support, and Visa Application

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). Once received, the NVC will assign a case number for the petition. For family preference immigrant visa cases, when an applicant’s priority date meets the most recent qualifying date, the NVC will send the Choice of Address and Agent form to the applicant, if an attorney or agent will be used. (NOTE: If you already have an attorney, the NVC will not send you this form.)

case has been completed at last. feeling happy. Alhamdulillah!!!

Congratulations!!! dancin5hr.gif

09/09/2009 met and had been happily dating for almost a year when my husband (bf at that time) won in a green card lottery. By that time he divorced from his ex-wife, and I graduated from the university and had obligatory job placement in Belarus for 2 years on.
11/19/2010 got married. In about a month he left for the US and applied for family reunification.
