Yes, AOS x 3 because there are 3 separate persons being petitioned. He can mail it in one envelope but make sure they are properly segregated and identified (by the cover sheet) for each applicant.

20-30 business days.

Pay the fees, print the cover sheet, attach cover sheet to docs then mail to NVC.

Thank you apple! Best of luck with getting the interview date. I hope you get it this month :)

For the meantime, you (petitioner) need to fill up form I-864 (AOS) and send it along with supporting documents such as 6 months pay stubs, letter of employment, tax transcripts for 2010, 2011, and 2012(can be requested online at irs.gov), W-2's (2010, 2011, and 2012). Make sure you print the cover sheet for your AOS and put it on top of your AOS documents. This is all depend on whether you're using co-sponsor or not.

Also, while you're waiting for your DS261 to be accepted, gather the required civil documents from the beneficiary such as marriage certificate, birth certificate, passport biographic page, 2x2 visa photo, police certificate. Make photocopies of each original documents and send each copy along with the original docs.

You can send your AOS documents ahead of time while you're waiting for the DS261 to be accepted. Then later, you can send your civil documents and fill up the visa application for beneficiary online (DS260).

If everything is good to go, expect NVC to review your AOS and visa application within 20-30 business days.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

Nice people of this forum. I have a concern/question that someone might have an idea about.

I received a checklist (unfortunately ofcourse) . The checklist starts with the notion that they are still awaiting my civil documents !!!! and then a couple of items that needs to be furnished in regards to AOS.

The thing is, I sent both IV and AOS packages separately but at the same time. Delivery was done for both (confirmed) and I even called NVC and they also confirmed getting 2 packages a day after delivery.

Do you nice people think that they asking for civil documents is because the people who do AOS are separate from people who do IV reviews and since packages sent at the same time, AOS group does not know about IV group?

Kind of worried of why they do indicate that they are still waiting for the civil documents even though they have it. Anyone can give me any clues in this? I ll sure call them, but a quick input goes a long long way. Thanks to all.

Dear VJ member.I am confused about the reply of NVC.

Here is my situation,I submit the Civil Document on Sep18th,2013 and my AOS package on Sep24,2013.Then I received two replies from NVC separately, saying that "We received electronic documentation for this case. Please allow up to 20 business days from the day the email was sent for the scanned attachments to be uploaded to the electronic case file and reviewed. "

Then on Oct 9th,I got a checklist, saying that they are waiting for my AOS package.I thought they might reviewed the material separate team,so I ignored this checklist and decided to wait.

But today is the 20th day after I sent AOS,no reply yet.I called NVC tonight.

What confused me is that the operator said they haven't received my AOS and nothing under review. He ask me to resent AOS.

I don't know what's wrong with them or me.

1,If they haven't received my AOS package, why they sent me an email saying that "We received electronic documentation for this case"?

2,The operator also mentioned that they need 30 business days to reviewed the material.Should I wait until 30 business day or resent the AOS now?

Do hope VJ member can give some advice. Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you call them again because if you mailed them and got confirmation through usps, fedex or ups that they were delivered then you should not worry. If you call more than one time for the day i bet you each agent will give you different info so call again and get 3 different responses from the agents before resubmitting your packages again. Call them ASAP.

Hey guys,

I got a checklist today saying that they want me to mail them the civil docs to begin DS-260 processing. I mailed all the civil docs the day after I submitted DS-260. I even called NVC to confirm and the lady told me they received it. So I'm kind of confused. I called NVC again just now, and they said not to pay attention to this checklist and to wait 30 business days for them to review. Has anyone else gone through this? Has anyone else received this type of checklist? What should I do?

Please advise.

Thank you guys!
