That was over 2months to your case complete. Did you get checklist along it?

After so much of calling to NVC like 4times a day. They rejected my initial IV fee payment and re-opened new one which I made the payment already. This should go through because it gave me transaction ID immediately unlike the last one.

I hope now they are done with the issues with online payment.

it doesn't matter if you send them together or not but i would ship them out as soon you print the cover sheet

Nice people of this thread and forum. I have a few questions since many of you have been around and I am new. I would really appreciate if any/all of you can give your best shot in answering them. Just short answers.

1/ I sent both IV and AOS packages on September 23 (actually delivered to NVC on that day). NVC confirms their reciept by phone when I called them. How long do I have to wait before I start getting worried that nothing is happening with our case? (This is F2A and I am the petitioner for my wife)

2/ If, god forbid, I get a checklist, will I be getting an email in that regards? (I am the petitioner and the agent for my wife ofcourse)

3/ If there is no checklist involved, will they notify me by email that my case is complete? I see some have the date for case complete. Is that the day you called and asked or is it the date you recieved an email in that regards?

4/ Our case is assigned to Ankara/Turkey. Any ideas, from what you heard, about how long it takes to get an interview in that Embassy?

I am absolutely grateful for all your help. I will post my dates soon for others to have an idea.

You just have to wait. You dont have to worry coz you're meeting halfway of the process. Just update your case whenever you can. Try to call nvc if necessary. What is your PD? With the use of your case number, you will track your case. You'll know what's going on with your case. Hope it helps you a little bit. )

My signature does not reflect the process I have been thru so far. Trying to get the dates to complete it. I actually sent both IV and AOS as reflected in my post above. My wife's PD is actually October 21, 2012 .

Is the "ceac" place where you track? When I put my case number there, it says that my case is at NVC and I should follow the instructions emailed to me for the next step in process. I think that is sort of a generic. Cause I did not recieve anything since I sent both packages (IV and AOS).
