Did you received the IV fee status as paid? ....

Seems I am on the same boat as you, I paid 3 days ago and I saw the payment was made but the status is still in process?

Did they take money already from your account and still showing in process? If so yours is ok, at least you are just waiting on them to update. I paid on Monday and still no deductions from my account yet.

Yep....but I don't feel it is OK, I saw on my account the money deducted something like IV fee...etc

On the AOS payment - it happened so fast....but anyhow we will wait I just wanted to finish this weekend with DS-260...

I wish you luck with your payment. Maybe you can call your bank or?

I did call my bank and they said NVC have not submitted anything to them yet and i also called NVC and they said it is much quicker for AOS but slower for IV fee. I just wanted to get over with it also but they kept on taking their time.

Anyways, the wait will be over soon.

Visa number is assigned at the interview. It happened in the past people to have visa interview but not to get their visas because of retrogression.

In my experience the most secure thing is to have your immigration visa stamped at your passport. Then you can feel releived

Guys i received the below email now, titled checklist cover letter and i'm thinking my AOS is reviewed and no checklist. I received one for both my wife and son.

What do you guys think?

We have reviewed the documents which you submitted in support of an application for an immigrant

visa. Please review the information listed under each applicant's name and provide any documents

which are indicated as missing or need additional information. You must submit the required

information. Failure to provide the requested information will delay your immigrant visa interview.

Please read the enclosed information to determine where to send all required copies of missing

documents. If you have any questions regarding this letter, please call the National Visa Center at (603)

334-0700 between the hours of 7:30am and midnight ET.

Please include a copy of this letter with your correspondence and write your case number clearly (exactly

as it appears below) on the upper right-hand corner of all documents.

From the date you mail or transmit the requested information, please allow 20 business days for NVC to

review this documentation/your mail. When we complete our review, the NVC will notify

you/petitioner/beneficiary/attorney with information regarding the next processing step.

If a period of one year passes without contacting the NVC (by e-mail, telephone, or mail), all

submitted fees and documents will expire. Upon expiration, the fees and documents would need to

be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

processing fees for all immigrant visa petition types. Your immigrant visa application processing fee bill

will be resent on or after April 13, 2012.

The immigrant visa application processing fees will be reduced to the following amounts:

• Immediate relative and family preference applications – $230.00 per applicant

• Employment-based visa applications – $405.00 per applicant

• Other immigrant visa applications (including I-360) – $220.00 per applicant

Since Monday and still not taking from my account and showing in process on NVC website. I think its more than that 'cos someone received same email last week and guys said it means no checklist for AOS package sent in. Anyways, i will know shortly.

Just got off the phone with them and they confirm my AOS package sent in is reviewed and ok. He said i should go ahead and make payment and i told him i did already so he said it should clear by Monday.

Lastly, he said fill the ds-260 when the payment is cleared and send in IV docs and that will be it for me.

Another step forward, though it took 20 business days from when it arrived there and 18 business days from when they opened it (sept 18). I am glad no checklist.

I have a scenario of an older woman here who i've been helping with her filing for her new husband. She's divorced after coming with her initial husband on diversity visa lottery years back. She's got everything good for past 3 weeks but because i was away she couldn't submit the IV docs as she doesn't know if she has to submit her original divorce certificate from 1st husband or not. Since AOS package is for petitioner and IV package is for beneficiary.

From the link below it doesn't say if the petitioner must include any document.

Anyways, to cut the long story short as i don't want to mislead her.

Does she have to put her original divorce certificate as a petitioner while submitting IV package/documents for her new husband (beneficiary) or just the copy she submitted during the I-130 petition is ok as petitioner? Please advise guys.

Yes, she should send it in. Look at it this way. The original divorce decree between her and husband #1 is linked to the original marriage certificate for her and her husband #2. She needs to show that "flow" if you understand what I mean. ~~~

Thanks for your reply. I've asked her to add it on she's just saying what if she needs it elsewhere before they call him for interview because its original that will be sent in.

Well, she needs to decide what's more important right now. She knows NVC needs it for sure. They'll give it back to her husband after his interview. While the decree is in NVC's hands, perhaps she can work on getting another one just in case she needs it for something else or hope a copy will suffice in the meantime. ~~~
