I paid yesterday and my is still showing addebited on my account

Are you saying your account is debited already or what? Don't know why mine is not as quick as the AOS payment. Could that be that they are waiting on the November visa bulletin or what. Anyways, it is what it is. I have to wait.

Hi all. We filed a F2A petition. Our PD is 10 SEPT 2012 and we received NOA2 on 10-SEPT 2013.
On 30-SEPT-2013 I sent an inquiry to NVC to try to get our NVC Case number & IIN. Today I received the following response:
The Agent of Choice (DS 3032) form and the Affidavit of Support Fee processing bill are being sent. Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive this information.

We are trying to do an early medical to work around the beneficiary's school schedule.

Is there any way we can get our NVC case number and IIN earlier? Does it make sense to call NVC regularly to ask for the numbers?

Thanks in advance.

Hi all I need help Please,

MY I-130 Approved (NOA2) on OCT 4th. On OCT 9th I received email from USCIS that file send to NVC.

1). so I think after wait for week should start calling NVC and ask for case no and invoice no right?

2). After getting NVC Case # and IIN assigned I have to fill out DS-261 (Choice of Agent) completed online and pay fee of ($88) right?

3). Instead of I 864 forums should I have to fill DS 260 online and package of IV and fee?

4). For sponsorship right now I have unemployed income and I earn 16k before I lost my job in 2012 I had 50k tax. Be in safe side should I need co-sponsor for my spouse?

Thanks in advance.

MY I-130 Approved (NOA2) on OCT 4th. On OCT 9th I received email from USCIS that file send to NVC.

1). so I think after wait for week should start calling NVC and ask for case no and invoice no right? ---> yes, you can call but usually they assign the case number and invoice number two weeks after they received the papers.

2). After getting NVC Case # and IIN assigned I have to fill out DS-261 (Choice of Agent) completed online and pay fee of ($88) right? ---->yes

3). Instead of I 864 forums should I have to fill DS 260 online and package of IV and fee?----> the $88 that you paid is the Aos fee and that is the affidavit of support. Form i864 is the aos form and everyone needs to fill that up and submit it with the other requirements that go with it to NVC. Print the document cover sheet from the paid $88 to be placed on top of your aos documents. Once your ds261, choice of agent, gets approved/accepted that's the time they will generate the iv fee, you'll receive an email when it is ready to be paid. After you paid that and when it shows paid that's the time you can access the ds260 form. Print the document sheets after paying the iv fee and place that on top of your civil documents to be sent to NVC.

4). For sponsorship right now I have unemployed income and I earn 16k before I lost my job in 2012 I had 50k tax. Be in safe side should I need co-sponsor for my spouse?---> if you are presently unemployed, no matter how much you earn before, you need a co sponsor unless you really have a large amount of assets and money on your bank account.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

I can click in the IV fee link but can't pay, is that a problem with the link? I have tried many times

Don't worry. You have to wait for the NVC to notify you that the bill is ready to be paid via e-mail. It'll take a day at the most. Same thing has happened to a lot of us.

Hopefully it'll become available tomorrow.

Good luck!

Dear Friends,

I'm reading these post everyday to get familiar with the process. I just replied to my i130 RFE and hoping to get the approval soon. I'm worried about the PD retrogression as my PD is 02/19/13. I read many places that if the case is assigned with Visa number then retrogression will not have an impact & case will flow through. Is that true?

The next question is, at what stage this visa number(Not NVC case no) will be assigned? AOS/DS260/IV/at the Embassy?

Cover letter is optional but i try to put it so as to be able to highlight what i have in the application to the reviewer and for easy flip through. The compulsory one is the bar coded cover.

Did you received the IV fee status as paid? ....

Seems I am on the same boat as you, I paid 3 days ago and I saw the payment was made but the status is still in process?

Visa number is assigned at the interview. It happened in the past people to have visa interview but not to get their visas because of retrogression.

In my experience the most secure thing is to have your immigration visa stamped at your passport. Then you can feel releived smile.png
