Thanks for your help.

I don't know exactly what you mean by cover letter. Is that a requirement? What should the cover letter say?

Cover letter is optional but i try to put it so as to be able to highlight what i have in the application to the reviewer and for easy flip through. The compulsory one is the bar coded cover.

Лидия,

You don't need to send 3 year tax returns. Only the last one. Wish you luck. I am also with -864EZ and it good approved.

In the package I sent the W-2s and the tax return only for last year.

Cover letter is just optional and not a requirement smile.png

Hello Kai,

I have a question about the future process.

I have just paid the IV fee. And I'll copy paste something from the receipt

1. When the IV fee payment status is PAID, each applicant must submit an Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration. If your case was initiated after October 4, 2010 and your case number begins with AMM, ATH, BGH, LMA, MEP, or MTL you must submit your visa application form online. Otherwise you must submit the paper version of the form.

Could you confirm that I understand it correctly?

My case was initiated after this date, but my case doesn't begin with this letters, so I have to send the paper version of the form?

But in the other instructions from

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

is stated clearly:

Complete and submit the DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa Application.

With no conditions.

I think this guys from NVC haven't updated one of both places?

TexasStar,

My husband started to work full time just in January 2013, so his salary isn't documented in last year w2. It'll be shown only in 2013 w-2. But he is going to provide ADP pay stubs for the last 6 months. Can he use just I864EZ form instead of I864?

Thanks for your help!

I think you are good, but that's just me. Maybe you have to call NVC for advice.

Hi there, if your country is not included in Electronic Process (EP) as you mentioned here, you have to do the paper instead; however, NVC just updated the visa application form that we have to use DS260 instead of DS230 started Sept. 1, 2013.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

Hey jhun,

Ok, still I'll call them because my official instuction page shos the following:

All applicants must follow the steps listed below.

  1. Read the instructions for Children who are about to turn 21 years of age if the applicant or a child of the applicant is approaching 21 years of age.
  2. Obtain the applicant's required civil documents. This process may be lengthy and could be subject to specific in-country local requirements. To review specific requirements by country click Reciprocity by Country. Submit the applicant's original civil documents to the NVC.
  3. Complete and submit the DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa Application.
  4. Review any additional requirements given in the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General-specific information.

And I am almost positive that I and absolutely everybody have to use DS-260 from now on. And should be filled as instruction adviced in ceac

But thank you for your answer....

Also that's the evidence that you are right ..but not all the way right ;-)

Starting 3d september all DS-260 are filled online only.

Thanks Everybody. Just NVC haven't syncronized their instructions (again again again)....
