Athena , did u get a case number from nvc yet? Im still waiting for it so we can start the process. Approved April 23 rd.... Pd june 13 , might be current next month we need to complete our cases

keep calling NVC often. I wish you will get next week in sa Allah. I paid the AOS fee and DS-3032 through email.

Guys , i just called nvc they told me my case was received on April 29. Nvc number will be assigned shortly!! I have 2 questions!

1) do we have to send same documents to nvc( marriage certificate, birth certificate.......) if yes what happend to those we sent to uscis! Or we send only the forms( AOS , COA...)

2) my pd is june13 do u guys think that we might get interview on july?? Since the vb for june will be june8 ???

Salam brother, when did u get nvc number , how long does it take u after Noa2 ? Did u log in to pay AOS fee? Did u send it already?

Thanks for the inquiry. My case is not complete at NVC yet. I sent the Immigrant Visa package on April 30th but it is missing a Police Clearance Certificate (taking too long at the South African Police Headquarters). In my cover letter, I have asked if NVC would accept the package as is and allow my wife to bring the Certificate with her to the interview.

If it works, I am hoping to get a "case complete" by mid-May. Otherwise, I am going to wait a bit .

Changing course, I noticed from the Citizenship forum that your husband had his citizenship interview in Lawrence and will have his oath ceremony in Lowell. Were his biometrics done in Boston or in the outskirts?

Congratulations on your case approval and I hope you get your case completed soon.

Thanks for the update! From what I have read, it should be possible for the NVC to accept your package without the police certificate. Good luck, I hope you'll have your case complete in the next few days.

As for my husband's naturalization process, he had his biometrics done in Boston. That's why we were first surprised when he got an invitation to an interview in Lawrence. Later on we found out that Lawrence is in fact the field office assigned to his area. It's funny how USCIS makes applicants to travel around the state, but maybe they just want new citizens to be familiar with their surroundings

No, not yet. My husband called the NVC last night and we'll call again on Monday. I hope we'll get it next week since we really want to complete our case by the end of the month and then upgrade it to the IR category in June.

Walaikumus salam.

NVC received my case on 15 April. When I called NVC on 25 April, they gave me case no and invoice no. They emailed me DS-3032 and AOS fee letter on April 30.

I paid the AOS fee on April 30, Tues day and it still showing in progress where as, the fund has been deducted from my bank account. My wife replied DS-3032 immediately after that. Now, I am waiting for their letter for IV fee and others.

What the difference between COA and AOS? I 864? DS 230 ? .....

COA (Choice of Agent) will be the one who will be receiving all correspondence from NVC. It can be the petitioner, beneficiary or lawyer if you have one.

AOS (Affidavit of Support) is the I-864 which shows the financial capability of the petitioner to sponsor the intending immigrant/s.

Do I have to send Choice of Agent form by email or in hard copy??? Or both?

If by email - do I have to print the form, sign it, then scan it? Or it's enought just to type my name in the signature field?

After we send the AOS package - what should we do next? When do we pay the IV fee?

I sent mine thru email. NVC accepted it.

After you sent the AOS package, wait for further instructions. :-)

Hi Guys!!

I have a question.

My income was around 10K in 2012 which is under poverty line. So, I need a joint sponsor. I know that I have to submit I-864 with pay stubs and tax returns. My question is: what are the required forms except I-864 for joint sponsor?

M so confused! I called nvc they saied my file is complite n I will receive mail till next week,and my pd 31 march 2011 will be current this month....bt my friends pd was in April And her case was complite before 4 month, she got her interview mail from nvc on 1 st may...how come this possible cause her pd is not yet current though she received interview mail from nvc

Based from the posting of some members here, the June VB will most likely reach 08JUN11. That is why your friend received her IL. You didnt receive yours since you just completed your case. Allow additional time for your to be scheduled in their system. Hopefully you receive yours next month. Goodluck!

You will NOT be scheduled for an Immigrant Interview, even if you are current, unless you complete your case. After case completion, you will still need to wait for sometime for you to be given a date.

Once you received correspondence from NVC, submit all neccessary documents for you to finish ASAP. I do hope you are starting to prepare civil documents and the like. Goodluck!
