Just now i received the DS-3032 and AOS processing fee instruction letter. I just paid it now too. Thanks

Thanks for the update! Isn't it nice how quickly everything works at the NVC? It's such a different feeling compared to waiting two years for USCIS to even look at the file...

Guys, plz help!!!

Do I have to send Choice of Agent form by email or in hard copy??? Or both?

If by email - do I have to print the form, sign it, then scan it? Or it's enought just to type my name in the signature field?

After we send the AOS package - what should we do next? When do we pay the IV fee?

Thanks!

See post 1 in this link below:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/427843-nvc-filers-may-2013/

Click on "Flowchart for IR-1/CR-1 Visa Applicants" to see how the process at NVC works. Even though the flowchart is for IR-1/CR-1 applicants, the process for F2A applicants is the same at NVC.

Good luck!

Hi Irena,

Congrats on your case number!

We haven't got our case number yet, but once we have it, I was going to email my choice of agent using VJ's email template. Read this:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

A couple of days after your choice of agent has been accepted, the IV bill should appear in the payment portal.

I would also highly recommend the link Anil posted above. It has tons of useful information, and the NVC process finally started making sense to me after I had read all of Saylin's links and the FAQs.

Athena June,

Thanks for the inquiry. My case is not complete at NVC yet. I sent the Immigrant Visa package on April 30th but it is missing a Police Clearance Certificate (taking too long at the South African Police Headquarters). In my cover letter, I have asked if NVC would accept the package as is and allow my wife to bring the Certificate with her to the interview.

If it works, I am hoping to get a "case complete" by mid-May. Otherwise, I am going to wait a bit smile.png.

Changing course, I noticed from the Citizenship forum that your husband had his citizenship interview in Lawrence and will have his oath ceremony in Lowell. Were his biometrics done in Boston or in the outskirts?

Congratulations on your case approval and I hope you get your case completed soon.

Will my brother from another mother, "jrh", please stand up and let us know his status? smile.png

Anil
