I need help because I did not understand DHL process. As of March 18, 2013 there was a new process of getting your visa so not really sure how the process went prior to our specific case. So my husband had his interview on March 19th and he was approved. They give him a white paper which were instructions on registering on the Visa Information website. On this website, he had to enter general information as well as decide how he wanted to pickup Visa. I did that! Attached to this white paper was green slip with 5 or 6 numbers and my husband stated he needed this form to pick up his Visa. There was also a white slip where he had to write his passport number, but I lost it. He does have his passport number already written down somewhere else though. That day at his interview, we did not pay anything to no one that I know of. Of course, spouses cannot go in with your oversea spouse for the interview. I really need someone to tell me specifically what do I go from here. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

Highly frustrated in NC

Moved from CR-1 to regional forums as this is a country specific issue and should be answered by people going though the process in that country. Not a general CR-1 issue.

You no longer pay a fee to DHL to get the passport when it is ready. If he registered properly on the website then it is okay. Keep the green ticket safe for handing over to DHL.
