My fiance and I applied for our K1 visa. We sent in our I-129 package on Jan 02, 2013 and we received our NOA1 on Jan 11, 2013. We are both patiently waiting for any response from the CSC. After reading some posts about waiting times, I am getting to be a bit concerned. I am wondering if anyone, that applied in January of this year, has gotten a reponse yet.

First :time: , you can do so by clicking your name in the upper right corner. Then select timeline add/dit. From there VJ provides you instructions. If you do this, you will see on the bottom of your timeline pages VJ provides you with an estimated petition approval date.

Secondly, check igors list. Hit immigration timelines., the select the link on the upper right of the page. You will see that csc is currently working on petitions from July/August. You still have a lot of waiting to go before you should expect t hear anything back.

The point of this post is to simply correct semantics.

At this juncture, nothing has been applied for, you filed a petition, your fiancee will ultimately apply for a visa. Secondly, the petition form you would have used would have been the I-129F, the I-129 is filed by employers petitioning non-immigrant workers.

hi there, we filed in January too, received NOA1 on Jan 9th. We haven´t heard anything nor did we expect it after studying many stats and other couples´ timelines on this website over the past few weeks. there has been one couple that filed in February and they got theirs within 2,3 weeks, but only because they got an expedite for humanitarian reasons since the beneficiary was from Haiti. Looks like we won´t hear anything for at least another 3-6 months :( .

It already feels like forever. I hope it doesn't take too long for you, or me, or anyone else.
