I'm kinda confused about the upcoming fees (K1) I've read so many different things...I just want to make sure I have everything straight

Medical exam: $180

Vaccinations: $109

Banco Popular: one payment of $150 and a separate $15 payment (keep the receipts, i know)

Consulate: $80

DOMEX: $9.50 (my fiance lives in Santo Domingo & will pick it up)

am I missing anything?

Thanks in advance

My packet 4 has the following information:

Banco Popular $160 USD + $15 usd for verification

Medical examination $180 usd

Vaccinations $170 usd (because we are in the influenza season) grr!

Consulate $80 usd

Domex $9.50

That's all what I've got in my packet 4

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

The above information is correct. Vaccinations are optional, but highly recommended. This prices also vary by age and time of year you go.

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: Canada

Moved from K-1 process forums to regional forums as these fees are largely country specific and require country specific answers.

call around your area about vaccinations because they are not very expensive and don't have to be done until you start your adjustment of status so can give you a little time to save money. vaccinations are not required for k1 to do there visa.

to check prices in your area you need to find a civil surgeon and they should be able to give you the cost break down. mine is at the county health dept.and the prices are almost the same if not cheaper.

  • 2 weeks later...

my fiance paid banco popular this morning & was told there was a fee increase, he ended up paying $183.75 for everything... think it might be due to the exchange rate but he says the banco popular employee told him the price had gone up.
