I just wanted to let u guys know

How did i end up int he country that people sue each other!! :crying:

me and my hubby just got sue from our car accident in June (if anybody remember!!) But Bram siad the insurance company will take care of it and we will be fine but still - it's sooooooo weird!! (but we can also counter sue too...)

it's so weird that after the accident we got tons of letter from attorney asking if Bram wanted to sue me and I wanted to sue him and we wanted to sue the guy who totaled our car (it was a single accident - me with the rail guard - but the car was on the raod and other passed but this one hit us) and i was wondering why in the world i wanted to sue Bram and why in the world Bram wants to sue me and WHY IN THE WORLD the attorney office send letter asking if Bram wanted to sue me!! this is really a culture shock experience with the law sued thing

just ranting :crying:

K-1 = 4 months

AOS = 5 months

I-751 = almost one year

I remember the accident and seeing the pictures...it was raining, the roads were slick and the visibility low. I'm sorry that you've got to go through this.

I recently struck some debris on the freeway and it tore my front tire to shreds. A highway patrolmen stopped and helped me change the tire. He said he could file a report but then he'd have to cite me because he said I'm suppose to adjust me speed to allow for avoiding stricking something on the road! :blink: He was just telling me how the law looks at it, unfortunately. :(

4/27/06 - Receive Biometrics appointment letter scheduled for 5/11/06

6/02/06 - Receive notice that AOS only has been transferred to California to speed things along

6/07/06 - E-mail that AOS received in California

6/13/06 - Welcome letter mailed by California... yeah baby

6/17/06 - Official welcome letter received and card will arrive within 3 weeks

Don't you just hate all the lawyer commercials, for the accident attorneys. The commercials seem to be on the most during daytime TV time when all the welfare recipients are home watching the soaps. :protest::ranting:

If it weren't for all the ambulance chasers the insurance rates and cost of medical would not be so high! :ranting:

An ambulance chaser is a lawyer that looks for people that might be injured in an accident, and offers their services to sue, sometimes they even hang around hospitals looking for work.
