The first time I saw anything on this was when this topic was posted. I am unaware of any movement if it exists at all.

Why would I imagine any thing a particular states does would work or be good in every other state?

States are rapidly growing much more dissimilar some States have commonality but many do not.

If they were to make an official religion in the U.S., I would leave the country and give up my citizenship, immediately.

Conversely, I think that there need to be more rules to keep religion out of the government. When you have a government based on a religion, which, to some extent, we do have in the U.S. at the moment, it means nothing but bad news for those who disagree with the religion, or don't want to follow its rules. The majority of people are white in the U.S., would it be wise to make 'white' the 'official race' of the U.S.?

The sad thing is, many who want a state religion, would probably say "yes."
