To do so, grandson must prepare that invitation with one of those way overpriced notaries with an apostile to send to his grandma before she can visit. Anyone hear of this before? Or is this more BS, we were going to buy my wife's mother ticket here, but was getting complicated, so we suggested she try a travel agency in Bogota and that agency told her that.

I know my stepson visited his grandma several times in Bogota without any letter of invitation, and in that border town, Colombians are crossing the border all the time to buy gas in Venezuela. And Venezuelans are crossing that same border all the time to buy food in Colombia. Gather they don't have notarized letters of invitation.

Sounds crazy to both me and my wife.
