No it has nothing to do with the new CIR bill, since its just a bill. It will only take effect a few months after it signed into law, which at this point we are not really sure if it will become law since several previous versions have been submitted before but did not pass congress,

But it has everything to do with this, hence the very huge leap. Expect another retrogression in november, since that is the cut-off for the fiscal year:

oh my! so another retrogression on november? do u think if my PD is Jan 2012 i will be affected by the said retrogression? my excitement suddenly disappeared :( we want no more retrogression..lucky are those who got case completed and are current now..but unfair for us who might get affected of that retrogression..so sad.

Why there is no common about F2B, is there any F2B whose (PD is after May 2005) has received the IL?

Like I said, "expect", i didnt mean to state that as a fact, I just meant that you should be ready for it because of the rate that the F2A is scheduling interviews (meaning the availability of visa numbers) vs the approved petitions. A lot of cases are still pending at different service centers with pd's earlier than the current visa bulletin, and there are even cases that are approved and complete but still no interview letter (ok, im confused about that myself).

at this rate, if you're jan2012, who knows... God willing, you will receive your interview letter in 3 - 4 months, which is still way before november... i'll be praying for that and a speedy reunion for you and family star_smile.gifstar_smile.gifstar_smile.gif

Like..seriously? What's d differnce between interview confirmation and interview letter? Just doubting..:-/

Seriously smile.png I would be doubtful too if I had't seen with my own eyes. The interview confirmation was in the interview letter.

I was hoping for May 8, and then while I was reading this thread I got an email with the IL, and my heart dropped.

Right now I'm wondering if I'm the only one thus far with the confirmed interview in June
