Hi all

Juliet has finished her 6 month DOT at St Lukes feb. 19. This has cost a small fortune with apartment, travel on weekends, expenses and all but we got through it. She had last culture taken Jan 19 and of course had to wait the 8 weeks for the results...ok fine..they said to call on mar 19 and reschedule remedic(another 9600php..grrr)then. So she called n they say just show up n have medical done..(sounds like progress finally)and they will reschedule interview then. She showed up n was given first day of medical and told to go home without immunizations(the second day)..we had no idea why nor did they say. She was told to call next week n come back for shots.OK..she called n was told to show up anytime so she went back to Manila n went to St Lukes the next morning and was turned away because her papers are processing...sheesh..she was told also her medical was only good for 3 months and that started march 20(her first day of medical) so we got about 9 weeks before medical expires and have to have another one done(another 9600php)..sounds like a pattern? Hopefully monday she gets good news but this timeline is getting close to being not possible...she has 9 weeks to get shots ..interview..wait on visa and then me schedule flights to go pick her up. I would think people going through DOT would have the papers processed knowing when the end is coming..and why only 3 months on medical?..anyone been here and done that?..ohh..and the 2 year window is coming in may..we kept thinking anyday now for a long time but i have to go there regardless if she has visa or not before june...anyway..that is our delema now..hoping for something to go right for once..ingat always

I don't understand. What "two-year window?" Why do you need to go there before June?

I don't know why St. Lukes is saying the medical is good for only three months. However, nine weeks should be enough time to complete her medical, complete her interview, receive her visa packet from the Embassy, and fly to the U.S. I say this because St. Lukes usually schedules interviews for a date right after completing the immunizations.

Thanks for reply and info...i kind of thought that was the case. They are waiting for interview appointment to open before giving imunizations. Is it not true that if 2 years go by without being with each other that your application is revoked and you start all over??
