I have filed early in February using 2011 tax return and i never got a RFE. is it possible that i will be Rfed at the interview for the 2012 tax?? i am asking because i am using a co- sponsor and it's not easy for me to ask him for extra documents unless the are mandatory!

Yes its very possible. Taxes are due April 15th and your interview is after April 15th. They can ask you for your 2012 taxes. If you don't have them you will be delayed in getting an approval.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

What is the meaning of RFE?

How can they both file taxes if the applicant is not authorized to work?

What happens in that scenario?

Aliens can file taxes using an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) if they do not qualify to obtain a social security number.

File taxes when there is no work? When there is no authorization to work?

I am doing my taxes right now. My husband is not eligible for a SSN, so we have to get him an ITIN. Since we were married before Dec. I can not file as single. So we are filing jointly, and his income is $0. I am meeting with my tax guy on Thursday. He is able to certify my husband's passport and then we can file our taxes with his certification for ITIN. They will give him a ITIN once all the tax paperwork is submitted together.
