Okay, I understand. She and I visit about every other month and I assumed a lot here visited more often rather than waiting 8 months at a time. I didn't mean for my post to offend anyone, just throwing that out there.

I can only imagine the pain you all go through. :(

Oh no offense taken :)

Personally, for me to fly to Mexico where my fiancé lives would cost between $600-$800 and right now we're trying to save up for future expenses.

It really is hard and I'm impulsive as I find myself THISCLOSE to just buying a ticket and going.

But I have to hold off and be patient ?

Trust me most of us dealing with the country didn't know that the US would deny a person to visit. Like what.

I was living with my husband in Nigeria after we got married ion 2011. We had no clue than I read about this Affidavit of Support and was like "babe I have to go back to the states and find a job" That was 18 months ago I last saw my husband.

It's damn hard trust me. But thank God interview is in 11 days.

Whatsapp chatting, Facebook chatting, Skyle video....and it's not enough ?

But at least it's something.

I'm just SO ANXIOUS for the day when we can live together.

I'm a VERY IMPATIENT person so this is going to be hard but I love him soooo much.

This is just gonna make us stronger.

Me too!! The waiting is killing me lol thats y every little thing helps to the extreme!! I hate waiting even for toast!! Lol

We also Skype few times daily. He wakes me with video calls when it's time to get the kids off to school. It's the closest thing to actually waking up beside each other. It's so very hard when your loved one is so far away. We also have been visiting each other every 6 months or so. As alot of you know, visiting another country also get very expensive.

Time zones.. ugh. Time zones are so hard also when one is sleeping and the other is awake, but I guess it gives us time to do our daily thing without disturbing the other.

Each day we wake, is another day closer to hopefully being together forever (L)

My advice to everyone.. Don't lose sight of the longer picture. All good things come to those who wait B-)

They sure do!! And patience is a virtue!! However after reading some of the processing times ppl have encountered on their journey im starting to wonder if my patience will b over extended!! I dont have a long rope!! Lol

I took the extreme path and relocated to be near to my wife :). The only things I have to do more when filing for my wife's visa are the domicile package and finding a joint sponsor. But the experience is worth it. My wife also appreciates what I have done for her very much :).

Appreciation is a great reward!! Its nice to see couples on here able to b 2gether thru this process.. We arent all so lucky :(

Are they ok with that? I mean going through customs/ boarder patrol every other month? They gave me the impression they dont like peoples visits to the U.S. to be too close together.. not sure if this has affected you. Have you/ your fiance ever had any trouble with this?

November - She came here

December - Visted Canada

January - Visited Canada

March - She came here

May - She's coming here.

So far we haven't had trouble, but I still worry.

Cope hehe me cope. See my profile? Yesterday I got my 4th heart 4000 post. LOL I live here on VJ. This is my escape learning and helping.

To think before I came here me and my man thought oh you get visitor visa come here we get married and live happily ever after. We didn't even know there was a spousal visa,an adjustment of status. OMG.

But at least I got to live 6 1/2months with my husband in Nigeria. And yes I will be there for interview by God's grace.

Thanks for the shout out.

One thing I can say. Through the good and bad I have gotten on her (most of us have had our hands and feelings slapped a few times) this is still a community of people who get what we are feeling. I could post on my wall on facebook all my thoughts of this process and except for a few friends who are going through this no one would get it. So for that I love it here. Just like a family we laugh, we cry, we yell we cuss. But most of all we are so happy when we see approved and POE and Visa.....my bad :ot2::D
