Hello April filers! Below is a summary of everyone that has data filled in on their timelines.

Would be nice if we could also see EAD and AP times. I am more anxious for the EAD to get busy again and then the wait for the others won't seems so endless. Staying at home is very challenging, especially when you begin to see reruns ever so often, run out of places to clean, dust and rearrange. Bones start to ache because of too much sitting or laying down.

Thank you, goodbar. I noticed we received the NOAs same day. Let's see if history repeats itself with the biometrics letters.

Hello April filers! Below is a summary of everyone that has data filled in on their timelines. There was no way to insert a table (at least that I knew of) so I have inserted the summary as an image file. The table is sorted by filing date. I'm not entirely sure how many people filled in EAD/AP info in their timelines but I will pull in the available data and post a revision later today.

My USCIS Journey...

 

I had an I-485 filing already submitted through an employment-based application. Post-marriage, I submitted an I-130, which after being approved was interfiled with the existing I-485.

Interfiling/AOS Timeline:

01/03/14 - Day 274 - Interfiling request received by USCIS

04/03/14 - Day 364 - Interfiling service request sent

04/30/14 - Day 391 - Second interfiling service request sent

05/19/14 - Day 410 - Email sent asking for case status update

06/04/14 - Day 426 - Response received that I-485 was transferred to NBC

06/05/14 - Day 427 - I-485 updated to "sent to local office for processing"

07/02/14 - Day 454 - Status changed to testing & interview. Interview date August 4!!

08/04/14 - Day 487 - Mini-Stokes interview. IO intended on approving AOS but the computer did not show I-130 approval. The wait goes on...

08/18/14 - Day 501 - Spoke with Tier 2 IO - said that my I-485 is approved but no card prodn ordered. Asked to call back in 2 weeks if no update.

08/29/14 - Day 512 - Spoke with Tier 2 IO - said that my I-485 was not approved yet, but my file was with an IO for a decision

09/03/14 - Day 517 - Wrote a request to my Congressman asking for assistance

09/09/14 - Day 523 - Status updated to Card/Document Production

09/15/14 - Day 529 - Status update - Card mailed to address on record/permanent resident status registered

09/15/14 - Day 529 - Status update - Card picked up by USPS.

Got my notice today for an appointment on 5/22/13. Went to the office around 2pm. No one was there! Security was a breeze. Walked into the actual office and there was one lady there filing out paperwork. They asked if I had an appointment letter, to which I said yes and handed it to them. No one asked about why I'm doing a walk in early. Lady took me to the back and did all the fingers and took my picture. Everything from start to end probably took 5 minutes. Well worth it! Staff was excellent. Now I sit and wait and wait and wait some more lol.

Been the mailbox twice ... (trying to keep busy so I'm not a ball of mush today) ... no mail delivery yet.

Dave says I'm driving him mad ... you would think he was the USC and I was the immigrant ... haha

If I don't get it today, do ya'll think I should at least call to see if it was sent or if our case was transferred to a field office? I don't want to be one of the ones who are denied because we didn't get a letter.

Also, are your status updates changing on the USCIS site?

goodbar, this is too funny that we're in sync. I did find a couple (JerseyDomRep) in the K1 -> AOS thread that has the very exact dates as us (even received bio letter today). The only difference is their appt is 3 days after ours. Chances are they'll get their bios done early.

I also think he's thrown off by the fact I took the day off from work. I checked the mail 4 times until finally he made me lay down for a nap. I barely got any sleep last night & I was trying to find something to keep me distracted from Carolina. I guess I chose the wrong thing. haha

When do we get our interview notice? After the bio appt?

When do we get our interview notice? After the bio appt?

That's the jackpot question....it varies so much,,,I peeked into the March filers and they have been getting appointment letters, so praying the charm rubs off on us......please please please Godrolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifinnocent.gif

04/16/13 - NOA(x4) Text/Email received with MSC number, routed to NBC

04/18/13 - Able to check status on USCIS site

04/18/13 - Received biometrics notice for 5/8/13 apt

04/23/13 - Biometrics completed by walk-in

05/14/13 - I-485 Case Status updated to Testing & Interview

05/20/13 - Text message (as of 5/19/13 I-485 interview date set for 6/20/13)06/10/13 - Status update - AP approved EAD in card production

06/14/13 - Status update - EAD/AP card mailed out (Tracker: USPS estimated delivery date 6/17/13)

06/17/13 - EAD/AP Combo Card arrival!!!!!! (I am cute looking in my picluv.gif)06/20/13 - I-485 Interviewgoofy.gif

06/20/13 - Pronto Approval!!!! "As of today you are a Legal Permanent Resident of the USA"

06/20/13 - Status updated 3 times (1-485 card approval/production, 1-130 approval NOA mailed out & 1-NOA of LPR registration status)

06/25/13 - GC in card production

06/26/13 - Status update - GC mailed out (Tracker: USPS estimated delivery date 6/29/13 )

07/01/13 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY and 4th of JULY to me (GC received - Praise be to God for another miracle and blessing!!!) cray5ol.gifcray5ol.gifTears of Joy!!

REMOVAL OF CONDITION (ROC)

03/02/15 - USCIS Removal of Condition reminder letter received

03/30/15 - I-751 package submitted

03/31/15 - I-751 package delivered to USCIS

04/01/15 - NOA date

04/03/15 - I-751 check cashed by USCIS

04/28/15 - Biometrics appointment

01/26/16 - Email notification - I-751 Approved and card in production

01/28/16 - Card mailed out

01/30/16 - Thank God!! received card in the mail (NEXT STEP - CITIZENSHIP)

03/22/16 - N-400 package submitted​

03/23/16 - N-400 package delivered to USCIS

03/30/16 - Check cashed by USCIS

03/30/16 - NOA

04/13/16 - Biometrics appointment

07/15/16 - Interview Date

I also think he's thrown off by the fact I took the day off from work. I checked the mail 4 times until finally he made me lay down for a nap. I barely got any sleep last night & I was trying to find something to keep me distracted from Carolina. I guess I chose the wrong thing. haha

04/05/2013 (Day 1) - Package received by USCIS Chicago

04/11/2013 (Day 7) -Received all 3 NOAs via text and email

04/12/2013 (Day 8) - Checks cashed

04/15/2013 (Day 11)- NOA hard copies received

04/19/2013 (Day 15) -Received Biometric appointment for 05/06/2013

04/22/2013 (Day 18) - Successful walk in Biometrics

06/18/2013 (Day 75) - EAD approved

06/24/2013 (Day 80) - testing and interview

07/02/2013 (Day 88) - interview scheduled for August 2
