its been 60days since my interview so i attended an infopass 2 days ago regarding my pending i485 and i was told that the IO handling my case is a rookie, and i dont understand why my file will stay 60days on her desk. i have contacted the congressman and USCIS replied and said my IO will be forwarding the file to the supervisor and i should wait 30days, its been 21days already and i dont know what to expect or if there's anything i can do. its very annoying having an inexperience or junior officer handling my case

That sure is annoying!! If I were in that situation I'd call every couple of days so they sure as hell wouldn't forget my name, and hopefully get so irritated by me calling that they would speed up the process so they wouldn't have to deal with me!! ;-). Good luck!! I hope you hear something soon. Keep us posted.

Hello guys, I have been reading posts here to prepare for my interview. So I thought I should make a post about my interview experience. Our interview lasted 20 mins. The IO was very nice and friendly. She mostly looked through the file making some jokes and remarks. She only asked us about how we met. And that was it. She said I am convinced in paper and we should receive card in mail soon. Overall looks like getting a nice IO makes journey smoother. Hopefully everything goes well for people who are next for interview.

Hello

Hello tony&lace.

Did you ever receive the actuall green card? How did it go with getting a stamp at USCIS? I am curious to hear something from you.

When my GC was scheduled to arrive I was chasing the mailman around the neighborhood to make sure I get it that day. There was road work on my street that day and I was afraid he won't bother to even enter that area. Thankfully I found her (the regualr mailman was off) and almost begged her to give me my mail. That night I was finally able to sleep peacefully.
