Thanks guys, the nerves are still there but I'm feeling calmer.....Just adding last minute stuff to the binder. I wanted to ask all those who have interviewed before, who did the IO direct most of the questioning to? The immigrant or the petitioner?

My IO asked no one in specific, but I allowed my husband to take the lead..

An update in my case: finally got the card production status update 21 days after my interview approval. Don't know why it took that long. I have my theories

Hello!

We are having our interview on August 14th and so far this is what we have as evidence and I will like to know what else can we add because I know is not much.

I will like to ask what you wear for the interview? So my husband and I can have an idea.

This is our list so far:

1. Photo-album with approximately 50 pictures (dating, engagement, wedding, trips,etc.)

2. Bank Statement of joint bank account

3. Letter from landlord saying he knows we both live together and we are renting his apartment.

4. Receipt of engagement ring and wedding bands.

5. Copies of Paypal transfers between my husband and I since we started dating.

6. Mail with "both names" from family and friends

7. Wedding cards from family and friends

8. Tax Return filed as married with my name on it.

9. Airplane tickets, park entrance and receipts from trips together.

And that's what we have so far, no insurance(can't afford it), I can't be add to the utilities,I know is so little but we don't know what else to add because we are on a very tight budget.

I will appreciate some advice from you guys.! I feel we are missing a lot...

You have way more than we had and we were fine...don't worry, they know that newbies to the USA are limited to what we can do and get added to. Keep rehearsing and try to be as prepared as you can.

Hello guys this is my journey! Hope this help someone out there still waiting for their turn to touch to the GC.

I filed all the forms on Apr-15

USCIS received on Apr-18

Received receipts on Apr-25

Received appt for biometric Apr-28

Did biometric on May-20

Receive letter for interview on June-24

Interview on July-23 (12:15 pm)

Here is my expericence with dallas uscis

We came early in the morning however they ( security guys) told us we can't get in because to early, it was 11:15 am. We just get back to the car and wait ;( temp outside around 100*F. Yeah T-T however we have to do what they told us to do! We get back there at 11;45 and we were in. After check in at front desk, we receive the buzz, there were a lot of ppl waiting to their turn, we just wait and wait, we play candy crush to kill the time and reading the magazines which were bought from the morning! After 1 hour waiting, finally our turn has come, the IO interview us is really nice and make us feel very comfortable. After swore us in he ask

My wife: wat your full name? DOB? Address? Did you ever petition for anyone eles? Did you married before? Do you have children? Where were u born? And then ask she did she recognize her signature on the form I-130

Myself: the same as above! Additional he ask me about couple "No" questions from I-485 which i answer No to all, except one question he ask me about prositution! My wife laughing and i told the IO that my wife is the only client that i have these days, we all laugh and then he said, i have everytthing i need so i dont need anything more, you can wait for my decision to be mailed to you this afternoon! right at that moment i knew that i am okay! , after leave uscis office about 15' i got msg and email from uscis which said that Card Document Production on the form I485, 30' later i got email and msg for I-130:Approved ! Thanks God that my journey have finished perfectly.

I just have joint chase checking acct, car insurance, discover card, fone bill, pictures around 13 pics and that all i submitted right at the beginning. Be strong guys you can do it!

I will make those changes on the next go-around. You may want to revise your signature to include dates the actions took place. For example, "63 Days- EAD APPROVED" You may want to have a date at the beginning that you got this notification. That way, we don't have to count to figure out what date it actually took place. Same with your interview. I went with your 6/19 date when it first switched over to interview & scheduling.

I was actually thinking and wondering about the exact thing when I updated the table this week. There are so many who gave us their initial dates and then totally disappeared. I too wonder how their cases are progressing.

12 days til my interview guys!! I am so ready for this!!! I came to the USA 08/28/2000!! and I haven't left the country since! was out of status for 12 years till last year. I was able to apply for Deffered Action. but then me and my now wife decided to get married before she went off to college because we have been dating for many many years. I cant belive this 13 years of nightmares are almost done!!

Green card arrived yesterday, July 22nd! EAD was canceled July 20th, so that will never get filled in my row of the table :-) Good luck to those interviewing soon!

One of those email updates, so I assume it's also reflected in my case status on the USCIS website. "On July 20, 2013, your I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION was terminated because you acquired status or the benefit being sought through other means. No further action will be taken on this case." Similar for the other one.
