Did they include a tracking number? I don't have one in my status.

They want to see intermingling of funds & co-ownership. ... What about joint bank account? Joint names on title of car? Car registration? Auto insurance? AAA? Cosco? Sam's Club? Joint cell phone account? You can ask the phone company to provide a letter or even email stating that the account is joint. I did that with our DirecTv. Are you named as a beneficiary or emergency contact for your wife through her employer? She can get a letter from her work stating that. We had TONS and I mean TONS of receipts for purchases that we made since we were married (groceries, household items, clothes, entertainment, meals out, etc). Cards/letters addressed to both?

Both not working at the moment so that knocks out alot things. No cars, no checking account (they charge a monthly fee if you dont have a job and direct deposit). I'm going to ask the phone company if we can get a letter or email. All the utility bills are in the homeowners names so count those out as well.

Are either of you receiving UI benefits? The co-mingling of funds is the big thing. What about savings account? I didn't have to show bank statements (even though I had them) I just showed the IO the letter from my credit union stating Dave was on my account & what date it went into affect. Can you open a free checking or savings account? Look into Wells Fargo. I hate them but check B of A.

I read your list to Dave and he said it's ok, you are gonna be fine. Just make sure you have all the original documentation related to your sponsor (I've even heard that the sponsor's BC was requested).

Are you bringing your documents in a binder? Organization is a big plus!

I got an email with a tracking number, but it's a really weird one - 3 digits long?! Shows as invalid on the USPS website!

EDIT: full number is available on the USCIS website thingy, maybe removed from email for privacy?

This all ours says:

Card/ Document Production

On July 16, 2013, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

"The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on July 18, 2013. The USPS tracking number assigned is #DCN."

But #DCN isn't a valid number. The full 16-digit number was in my USCIS portfolio thing online, though.

You should log into your USCIS account to see the full UPS tracking number...it's blocked out of the email for security purposes.

My tracking number shows a 'notice' was 'left' at my address... but nobody knocked, and no notice is on the door. Mailman too lazy to bother on a Saturday I guess :-P Away over the weekend so will go chasing on Wednesday.

My interview will be at 8AM. I am not going go sleep the night before for sure.

That's how Dave & I were. Between the two of us we only got 2 hours of sleep. We were grateful the hotel was literally around the corner from the office. The walk/fresh air woke us up a bit.

Received my "Welcome to the USA" notice today :) Don't worry Carla, RE the lack of tracking number - that literally only gets sent out when USPS pick up the card from USCIS after it's been produced. According to various sources, this can be anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks after it was ordered for production!
