Goodbar- I did something similar. My husbands birthdate where I should have put my own. The best you can do, to try and avoid a RFE- or rejected all together- is 1) as soon as you have your receipt number for the i-130, call the uscis customer service line IMMEDIATELY. It'll take a little while, but they'll make a record of the mixed up information and give you a reference number to check back in 2 weeks.

Then, 2) write a letter stating the mixup; have both you and your wife sign it, and send it to the same address you sent your original packet.

We did this about a month ago, and just 2 days ago received a letter stating they had corrected the information for us. But it was sooo much better than having to go through the added period of a RFE, or having it sent back to us.

Haha thanks! Ironic, I must say, seeing as our case was lost for 2 weeks before the Chicago Lockbox even accepted it...

On a separate note-- how do I do a timeline?? I've been trying to figure it out for weeks, and can't seem to get it!
