I have a question to all of you.

It has been 30 days since my I-485 status changed to 'testing & interview'. I just called this morning and customer service obviously was not very helpful. She told me that they can submit 'service request' after 30 days from the time the interview was scheduled. And mine was not scheduled yet since I didn't receive any email and status on line did not change.

I think that they can not do much at this point because my case is in the local office. And since it is still within processing time I will probably just have to wait.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

WooHoo! Congrats, mtkou8c! Now is the time to get your binder(s) together :)

Finally, ohhh finally I got my interview appointment email yesterday ..its gonna be on July 22 10 Am

Congrats to all of you guys !

See ... I need to quit reading the reviews. Since last night, I've been so stressed. We only have a 3.5" binder and not many photos. I am so stressed right now. I have to internalize it because I don't want to freak Dave out that I'm worried. I'm not concerned about "us" per say, it's the evidence requested that I'm concerned about. I don't know if it will be enough.

No. But he said he can see that we are so much in love :luv:

But one thing I remember now he told us to keep all paperwork with our names on and get a lot of evidences for ROC process. He told that yesterday morning they couldn't approve couple of cases because they didn't have enough evidences.

discoverusa, call and tell the first person you speak to that you want to talk to a Tier 2 rep. If they ask why just say that the T2 rep has access to information that the T1 doesn't. Also, depending on your local office, that could have an affect. If you are at a busy local office, it will take longer to get an interview date.

I have a question to all of you.

It has been 30 days since my I-485 status changed to 'testing & interview'. I just called this morning and customer service obviously was not very helpful. She told me that they can submit 'service request' after 30 days from the time the interview was scheduled. I think that they can not do much at this point because my case is in the local office. And since it is still within processing time I will probably just have to wait.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I think the first email means that the request to produce the card was sent. The second email means that the request was received and they are actually producing it. Just my guess. Within a day or two, you will get a new update saying it's been mailed. There will be one final update with the actual tracking information.

Can anyone tell me what is the necessary of the 2nd email of EAD card went to production

or what does that mean?

I did get the second email this morning.

Dave's card should be here today! Been tracking that puppy since it was shipped on the 19th. Began to panic because there was no activity at all on it yesterday via the USPS website.

For those that have received it, was it delivered to your door or what?

I freaked out the morning when I got it. USPS site showed it's still at the Post Office 50 miles from here! And our mail man usually comes 6-7 pm but on that day he showed up 8 pm. He was like I just have letter for you :) I told him it's the best letter of my life :)

It's USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope. It's gonna be in your mail box if you don't wait your mail man on the street like I usually do :)

WoW! Delivery that late in the evening?!? That's nuts!

Yes, this sucks! We have a community mailbox (location down the street with multiple boxes) so they don't deliver directly to the house. Sometimes they will bring the package to the door and other times we get a delivery slip. These aren't actual USPS carriers either. They're contractors using their POV. We don't get mailed delivered until anytime after 1:00 pm. If it's not there by 3:00 pm then there isn't any mail for the day.

Dave's gonna know something is up when I start taking 50 million trips to the mailbox today. LOL!
