as: EAD went into production. USCIS does some type of batch processing I guess.

They wait for some number of applicants to be in the same stage and then

order the production of EAD.

i strongly think i agree with u. i think they usually treat cases batch my batch, i remember getting notification for my testing and interview the same say, and same time with 3 other people on visa-journey and 2 other on tracitt. only God knows the number of people that got the same notification on the same day as i did.

Glad to see things are moving along for most.... and good luck to those with an interview tomorrow! :) Very exciting! Be sure to let us know how it goes!
As for me, just waiting for our interview date....I start work next week so will be throuroughly distracted which will be nice! I did apply for my SSN last week, so am just waiting for that in the mail so I can be added to utilities, life insurance etc. I"m gonna try and get a drivers license... but that may not happen. DMV has not been my friend this month.

Our status was updated with a tracking number. We didn't get an email though.

Hopefully, later today, the tracker will have a delivery date.

Well I finally got my EAD and AP and I'm now home with my family. I've been under testing and interviewing stage for over a month and a half but since that's normal for NYC I don't really fret.

I feel so sorry hearing about people who has lost their cards in the mail thanks to USPS! Seriously, I'd go frickin apeshit over that and not rest til someone took responsibility for it.

It's really sad how complicated this process is, I feel it shouldn't have to be like this in 2013. The whole AOS process that is. At least, they could make it digital...

Oh well.
