I am new here and as well a April Filer ... I send my AOS Packages on 22/04/13. receive my Bio Appt.. for 21 May and I am waiting for something to happen soon.. it frustrating sitting home and i feel terrible and home sick.. when i should be the one working and providing for the family.. I cant wait to start working again ... i will be so glad.. nothing is going to make me happy for now.. I hope i get an updates soon for my EAD and my AOS

Hi all! We received NOA1 April 19/13. Its at NBC. We filed for CR1. Why do some go to the service centers and some to NBC? Its a mystery to me. And, will you get NOA2 from NBC or from the local field office? All the best to you all.

I think it's the I-485 that goes to the local field office.

Im wondering, my work authorization got accepted on the 1st of april, so its been over two months n most of the ppl I kno got it at the two month mark, is it too soon to call them n check on it??? Im soooo ready to go find a job.

Did you submit your application on the 1st of april? What does your case status say when you checked online? I just took a peek at your timeline and copied this from your EAD section;

" Based on timeline data, your EAD may be adjudicated between June 4, 2013 and June 7, 2013*."

So fingers crossed you will hear this week!

I applied April 2 and my EAD hasn't been updated... still in Initial Review. When you go to set up an Infopass with USCIS it seems they don't consider your EAD overdue unless 90 days have passed from when you applied.

I feel your pain though... the wait for the EAD makes me so anxious!

I got my notice in the mail 8 days after.... but I've seen people wait shorter times...and longer times. I think it all depends on where you are. Ha ha it's that dreaded word we all hate to hear... patience.

But congrats on moving forward... It's a step towards the end!

I applied from the 26th of march but I got the noa the 1st of april. N yess my timeline said june 4 to june 7 but today is tha fourth so I checked my status a million times already! Lol still says initial review tho waiting sukks. I wanna call soooo bad

Calling can't hurt... they most likely won't have anymore information than what is online but if it will ease your worries I'd do it.

I know many people who got their EAD few days before interview, and green card two weeks after or even sooner. It seems that there may not be much difference in time between getting EAD and green card, unless you have requests for more evidence. I know waiting is hard. I cope with this by keeping myself busy. I find some projects to do around the house, like declutter my basement or touch up some paint. Really anything that keeps you busy and away from the computer. When I am home I can't stop but keep checking my email for updates.
