Sooooo happy for you guys! We are definitely in sync. Now it's time to sit and wait and wait and wait some more. I'm thinking about posting my possible red flags and see if I can get any suggestions to fixing them..... I just have to have something to do. Also if you can get someone to bring dave for an early bio between now and the 22nd I would give it a shot. Based on what I have read; whilst the early bio may or may not be speed up the process, one thing for sure is it wont SLOW donw the process so you may as well get it knocked out asap. Shoot for around 1-3pm they usually schedule people for appointments between 8-1pm. Good luck!

Unfortunately, we don't have anyone that could drive him. I think he's content just waiting until his appointment on the 20th. I am more impatient about this than he is. Which is why he's so calm ... I'm nutters for the both of us.

I don't want to even begin to think about possible red flags ... I don't think it's possible to drive Dave more insane. Wait, yes it is. HaHa!

Do you have your interview package organized? Over the next couple of weekends, we're getting binders with the plastic sleeve inserts to organize the forms and documents. Not to mention the million and one receipts we've accumulated. I have those separated by "Groceries", "Household Goods", "Meals & Entertainment", "Clothing", and "Misc".

We don't have many photos of us together other than wedding photos and the handful of self-portraits with the cellphone. Either one or the other is behind the camera. I have utility bills, joint cellphone bill & a joint AAA account. He's listed as a registered owner on my car and also as a driver on my car insurance policy. I can get a copy of the form I used designating him as the beneficiary on my life insurance as well as my emergency contact. We have cards & envelopes that is addressed to both of us from the family as well as packages delivered here for him.

I can't add him to the bank account until he gets his SSN. Can't get the SSN without the EAD. Can't get the EAD without the bio being done. Aaaannnnd we've come full circle. HAHA

Don't drive yourself nuts with the package you've already sent. Focus on the one you're going to take to the interview.

Would be nice if we could also see EAD and AP times. I am more anxious for the EAD to get busy again and then the wait for the others won't seems so endless. Staying at home is very challenging, especially when you begin to see reruns ever so often, run out of places to clean, dust and rearrange. Bones start to ache because of too much sitting or laying down.

Dave's been going stir crazy with cabin fever. He is so bored. He feels like his brain is eating itself lol.

So I went through all the posts and timelines. It looks like only one person has had progress and updated their info on the EAD. No one has updates on AP. I will post an updated table shortly.

Yeah, no one probably has any info on AP or EAD... I really want my AP. I don't mind waiting for the interview but want to go home this summer!

I think you the second person I have seen that got some confirmation on biometrics. Just wondering where did you receive the email from? Confirming your biometrics

Are you referring to the email before or after biometrics??

The day after we did a walk-in, we got an email saying the biometrics had been received- from the same USCIS email. Ill see if I can post the exact wording to put on here

I understand :-(. Question...Does your husband have a US drivers license? I saw where you said you added him as a driver on your policy? Also utilities and cell phone, didnt know that was possible without a SSN.

My insurance carrier allowed us to use his UK DL number. He drove my car while his VWP was good. Since it's my only car, I wanted to make sure it & Dave were protected. However, since he can no longer legally drive, he's still listed in case of an emergency when he would need to operate the vehicle. We will just need to update our policy once he does get a CA DL. I added him to the registration when I got my driver's license with my married name. They didn't need anything for that (adding him to the registration).

It was crazy the charges for using his UK cellphone here. I just bought him a new one and added him to the account. We got a family plan with shared minutes.

With the other utilities, I thought for sure you would need a SSN. To my surprise, I didn't. The only utility I haven't gotten a response from was the water bill. Since all my bills are paid online, I just print the statements and also the account information that lists him as well.

For AAA, I just paid extra to have him as part of the membership.

DirectTV was a pain in the hiney. You are only allowed one account holder so I had to just list him as an authorized user. This will give him the ability to make any necessary changes to the account that we would need.

Dave received his ITIN yesterday! We weren't expecting that until the end of the month. That was definitely a surprise. I can now add him to the bank account.

I did call the automated USCIS system and our cases are still in Ft Lee Summit, which I assume is the NBC. If they are going to transfer our cases, will it be after the bio appt or would they have transferred them already?

That's awesome! Congrats, Carla! Also I'm pretty sure your case gets transferred to the local office only after the biometrics results have been received and processed. From what I have read the NBC does the background checks for which they need the fingerprints from the bio appt. So, only after that has been completed will they transfer the case to the local office.

Also, thanks for your earlier post about joint account documents. I hadn't thought about the joint AAA membership. I can't do the utility or cable accounts since both companies do not allow two names on accounts. I was able to add my wife as an authorized caller on cable but it doesn't reflect her name on our statement. The AAA membership will give me another document to add to the stack. I'm always looking for more ideas on joint information :-)
