We had our interview yesterday morning. The nice man told us basically that we were approved, he just had a tiny bit more paperwork to finish, and he would hopefully finish it by the end of yesterday. But he gave us a piece of paper that said 'Your case if being held for review'. I assume that's only because he wasn't putting it in as approved that very second, so had to give us that. But he really said we were approved, and was explaining about removing conditions, etc. I can't imagine he found anything in looking over the file one last time, but now I'm panicking a bit.

How long would it normally take for the USCIS website to show 'decision'. I'm guessing it should be fairly instantaneous once he entered it right?

So now I find myself checking it every hour hoping to see it change :(

I can't handle this stress, sigh.

It's quite variable. Sometimes it's done a few hours after the interview, sometimes it takes a few days, a few weeks... It depends on when does the IO makes the decision. If everything looked good at the interview, be a little more patient. :)

Subscribe for email or text updates so you don't have to check the website every hour. You'll get a text/email once there's an update. :)

Thanks, yeah. I guess I was just hoping he was going to be able to get it done by the end of the day. I can't quite feel relaxed until I see that damn USCIS website reading 'APPROVED' :)

Thanks, just need to take deep breaths. It's just, as I'm sure everyone knows, one heck of a journey, and quite looking to having this chapter done and concentrating on our 'lives' for a bit, and not on 'paperwork' :)
