He really doesn't not care about the endless stream of Black lives perishing in violence every night.

I really thought he was going to take some meaningful steps at addressing this serious problem.... But instead it's politics as usual.

None of his proposals with have any effect on any of the urban areas.

He has not even put a special task force together to study this problem.

Black folks are just props for him thats all.

Actually he does, but every time he has spoken out about it, he gets pegged as being a Black president, not president to the American People. Remember Trayvon Martin? He just made a statement, and folks lost their minds. Racist, he only cares if it's a black kid, etc. While there are a number of white people who don't get what he meant, every single black person in American understands it, even if they don't agree with his political point of view.

Any one of us could be Trayvon Martin, and we aren't allowed to forget it. As far as his proposals, it's a slippery slope to walk. He made a comment and they wanted his head on a pike, what do you think would have happened if he started focusing on the urban areas?
