K-1 Visa Petition Approved

Hello all,

On 1 April 2013, the K-1 visa petition for my Australian fiancée was approved. The process took 278 days (9 months, 5 days) from the day USCIS received our petition application on 27 June 2012 until the US Embassy in Australia approved the K-1 visa. I don't have a timeline to update, because somehow my timeline was damaged, and multiple requests to administrators to fix it have gone unanswered.

The entire process—although lengthy—unfolded without incident: no RFEs, no unnecessary delays.

Our approved petition is very likely the result of

3. thorough research.
